mostly working on school stuff

also, it's the one night of the week when i'm absolutely aobliged to cook for myself, b/c uni caf isn't open for dinner.

used to be an evening spent in front of a TV, but this year I lived in a house without one, so that was phased out.

I generally go to bed equally late no matter what day of the week it is, so it's not a huge deal that it's Sunday.

The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard

I like mondays, my class schedule is such that I don't wake up M/W/F until 10:30 so its nice to sleep in.

I go out on a Sunday night generally. Not clubbing or anything, I just head on down to the pub with some friends and lament the loss of yet another weekend. With my uni schedule I don't have to go into uni on Monday until 3:00 (and then only for a 1 hr lecture which is in itself optional), which is plenty of time to work off a hangover I think. Or if I was slack I'll do the 30 mins of work that I needed to do for Tuesday.

God I love the Arts degree. Uni life with a primary school workload.

Oh, it was glorious AIJ. Getting up early to watch Dragonball Z on Cheez TV, hiking it off to school for a day of nothing and playing 40-40 and brandy at lunch, then home/friend's place after school. And on the weekends, unparalleled amounts of fun.

I have to be up at 6 on monday morning. Bah.

Sunday nights are getting better now it's light for longer in the evenings. I try to treat it like a weekend night, but the whole work-next-day thing just spoils it a bit.

I always try and make the most of it though, like evenings in the week; I spend so much time at work that I always feel like I've got to make it up doing things that I like when I'm not there. So I'll stay up too late because I don't want to give in and turn my week into nothing but work/eat/sleep.

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Homework...now that was easy. One sheet a week, that would take me ten minutes today. Oh, it was a gold mine.

Stateside mondays are awful, especially in my earlier days,
Physical training is just awful after.a weekend of partying... Yuch, not as bad now that I'm almost out of the door,

Oh except while deployed because then every day is monday 7 days a week, yuck

On a good Sunday night I pull out my sax and go play with a quartet or at some open mic jazz club.

On a bad Sunday, I pull out my bassoon, make a big farting noise with it and then go back to bed.
