Hi all.
Another wakky post.
Daedalus is an investor, architect and craftsman in Greek mythology. He worked for the King of Crete but when he wanted to leave he was imprisoned. He and his son Icarus escaped from Crete by flying with big feather wings attached to their backs with wax. Before they leave, Daedalus warns his son not to fly too close to the sun. But ever curious, Icarus flies too close, the wax melts and he falls to his doom.
(Historically Daedelus was the first person to sail a ship without oars. Going towards the sun (the horizon) was basically loosing sight of land.)
Icarium is both Daedelus (the inventor) and Icarus (his curious son). When Icarium gets too close to the sun (releases his warren) he falls into unconciousness and the process is repeated as per ground hog day. Mappo is sometimes the sun knocking him out before he releases his warren.
Icarium in spelling is also very close to Icarus.
Anyway, I should change my name to Delerium.

Icarium is both Daedalus and Icarus, Mappo is the sun but they're both stuck in Ground Hog Day.

Actually while we're interpreting. You could say that Gothis is Daeledus and Iccy is the son.
Gothos was the explorer, the historian, the one who sought to know all. Gothos Folly.
Icarium, is doing the same (in a way) only he damaged himself and lost all.
