Ok, I've played the basic mafia before (ala the rules on your linky). I haven't done the research into past Malazan games, so I'm wondering...what's the time committment and how does it go down on the forum? Because it looks like a lot of fun, and I wouldn't mind being your 22nd person on the list....

Time commitment:

Minimum of 1 post every 24 hours to avoid being modkilled(bar weekend, where there is no modkill timer), though it's better to contribute a bit more, makes it more fun, and people don't get pissy.

Not sure what you mean by how it goes down on the forum?

To play you are given an alternate account and it's password, there is a game thread(currently stickied and locked in the mafia section) and the game takes place in there, your role will be pm'ed to your alt account.

I would hazard that minimum required commitment is going to be about 45 minutes to an hour during the first couple of days. That will mainly involve reading the thread to get caught up with what has happened since you last posted. As the game goes alone it will become more intense and as such take a bigger chunk of your time. If you are a fast reader or can at least skim spam then it might only be a 20 minute minimum requirement. So not much really. The only way to know if you will end up liking the game is to jump in. The water is warm....Grief why is the water warm....God damit Grief. How many times have I told you not to pee in the pool.
