YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH THE FIRST 4 ROCK.

AND THEN THE FIFTH ONE IS LIKE EATING A DELICIOUS STEAK FOR THE FIRST TIME AND REALIZING THAT THE STEAKS YOU ATE BEFORE WERE GOOD, BUT NOTHING LIKE WHAT YOU COULD HAVE HAD.

READ IT ABYSS.

READ IT

Oh you dirty, dirty bastard!

OK, so I've succumbed to temptation as well, and I have to agree with Obdigore: WOW. The great thing about being 10 books in is that there's no need for any pre-amble at all, just get STRAIGHT to the action. Already enough mysteries that my head is whirring about which way Butcher can go with this. The countdown till next month EAGERLY continues...

Lol. But just think...if enough people on here go ahead and read the chapters, we can have a mini- ideas/brainstorming session thread around here on what is coming next. And it'd even be more fun than the usual pre-book threads, because there's less than a month before we get some payoff.

On the other hand, if you DON'T read them then they become just the opening act of what promises to be a pretty complicated story. After the books come out, there likely won't be any posts dedicated purely to the first 5 chapters. Instead, there'll be the summary posts where folks tangentially touch on a few of the bigger themes in the story, but nothing really in depth. We miss out on the chance for a solid month of posts about one of our favorite series, and for what? Would the joy of the discussion not be worth the 15 minutes of already read material that you'd miss out on once the book comes out? A month vs 15 minutes...look at the cost/reward, here.

As you pointed out, the Dresden message boards leave something to be desired. Why not let us go all out and make this thread into a mini Dresden board, complete with speculation and theories on a more regular basis. That'd be fun, right? And you know what would help get it jump-started? YOU READING THE CHAPTERS! It's all on you! You're the mighty Abyss! If you read it and discuss, they will come. Help us Abyss-wan-Kenobi, you're our only hope!

Yepp the fourth and fifth chapter is pretty much dynamite...the fourth might be something of the best chapter so far !?

Those of you who haven't read it keep strong know that there is good shit promising for the book as a whole...(revealing far more then I think spoilers should too :D)...

/Chance...so....just 27 or so days....just 27....

Just a heads-up for those who can order from adlibris (Finns and Swedes at least), they seem to be shipping Turn Coat now.

Weird, I'm just looking at it now:

http://www.adlibris.com/dk/searchresult.as...omproduct=False

3 different prices, 3 different publishers. The most expensive one comes with a CD it seems.

Ah well, I'm getting out my credit card.

The one available now is the US publication, the cheaper one from UK.

Turncoat is on the way. With any luck it will be here before Friday.

I have already told my friends that I wont be going out drinking saturday as I'm going to be devouring the book.
