How did Feather Witch get it?

Hi! i'm new to the forum, found it because i was looking for malazan fan art (btw, amazing art on this site by one and all).
I just started reading Reaper's Gale about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and unfortunatly i dont have the time i'd like to be able to read it faster, but! none the less! my question is: (Probably has spoiler, so dont read on unless you've finished or are atleast 500 pages into the book)
how did Feather Witch get one of Brys Beddict's fingers? I just finished reading the part where the Errant desides to declare war on the warrens and says he needs blood since he's eldur, he came to Feather Witch and picked her up to stab her when she took her finger bone and jammed it into his eye, yanked it out, etc etc. now, i know the Errant wants to use that blood to increase his power, and Feather Witch wants to use his blood to increase hers or, but what i want to know is, How did she get his finger? they never met, and after he defeated Rhulad (amazing fight...) and drank the poison, he was carried off by the sea guardian whom he spoke to earlier in Midnight Tides.
The answer may be revealed later, but not sure, it was just bugging me when i read whos finger it was lol.

During his fight against Rhulad in MT Brys risked to be wounded to get close enough to Rhulad. Rhulad cuts two fingers from Brys' hand, but then gets owned by Brys. The fingers are only once mentioned during the fight, but Feather Witch seems to have picked them up later. I just can't remember whether she's got both fingers or not.

She only gets hold of one finger.. the other winds up with Selush, the dresser of the dead.

Hi, don't know if this is helpful, but I had a similiar query a while ago. No answers as to the second finger
Apparently it is not mentioned beyond the loping off

When Brys fought Rhulad two of Brys' fingers were chopped off. Feather Witch picked up one and a story line ensued. The second finger was picked up, I think, by the Errant. Somehow, this finger wound up in a jar of Pink goo
in Selush's magic shop. It was this second "Twitching" finger in Selush's shop.
that, I believe, overrode Feather Witch"s binding magic. ("Feather Witch's
eyes snapped open. Disbelieving. As she felt Brys Beddict being pulled away,
pulled out of her grasp. By some force.") The finger was offered to Brys by
one of the Ratcather Guild members, Brys pushed the thing away in disgust.

My question: Does anyone remember the trail of events that began when
someone picked up the second finger, and ended with said finger in pink goo
in Selush's shop? Any and all help is appreciated.

Here's a link to the thread Wampyry mentioned.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"
