@ Serc: of course, you know, we DID have a modkill.. so not lynching won't be such a horrible thing.

note: I'm not saying we shouldn't lynch
just pointing out that it's not as tragic as usual if we don't

Well, I've been chugging NyQuil, so I'm ready to lick the paint off the walls and fuck the refridgerator, so my analytical skills are pretty much in the sewer right now. That is, I have no idea what i'm saying. Also, purple tastes funny.

@Silanah: That's enough to cast a shred of doubt on my vote for you ... except that at the same time, you sort of seem to be piggy-backing on my doubts about the train on Korlat.

Sorry, but you're just looking too suspicious, and without a CF ... well, it's going to keep me wondering for the rest of the game whether you're Inno or not. Typical Day 1 lynch of course.

I've had my doubts about the train on Korlat from early on, no piggybacking involved :sofa:. And step back to consider what it is about me that you find suspicious. I stuck my neck out because I didn't think that the case on Korlat had any merit, and the casemaker seemed scummy. What makes that so suspicious, apart from everyone saying it's so? If we had a CF, I'd go with the classic "When I come back inno, take a long hard look at my accusers!", but that's not going to fly here. I still think anyone who jumps to the conclusion that someone who might possibly have revealed finder is automatically scummy is very suspicious though, and would encourage people to pursue that line of reasoning after my impending demise.

sigh
you see, Sil, the thing is, I also spotted that turn of phrase by Korlat and the only reason D'riss beat me to it was because I was too stupefied to believe that someone would write somehting like that.
EDIT: hence the accusations levelled at him for that ring kinda hollow to me, because I realize that I may well have done the same thing.

last thing we'd want is for healers waste themselves on a symp.

But presumably you can see that it was not especially obvious, and that it would be easy to miss? And consequently that it should probably have remained that way? Would you really have come to the conclusion that it was worth outing a possible finder on thread?

I don't think there is really much to say, it seems to be just, decide who you believe out of Silanah and D'riss at the moment and cast your vote. P-S can you give us an official count?

I'm sorry to say, but I DO find it a pretty obviousw thing.
but then again, my eyes tend to zero in on the word " PS" in every post..

I'm not too sure how much attention I'd have called to it, but i'd certainly feel like "wtf?" at that post.

Sorry here. Well to be honest since I made teh original comments on D'riss I rather agree with Silanah. To be honest I think the case on Silanah is pretty weak since I made half the arguments as well, so I don't see myself voting for him.

I wonder about Galayn Lord, his name hasn't been brought up yet, but he's been a little on the pushy side, must go reread him tomorrow.

Also Telas, I'm just curious, any reason why you were all over Shadow and the Mod kill? Its just I find that when I'm scum I look for that, when i'm innocent if I think its happening I shut my mouth about it.

Fair enough, guess I'll have to admit defeat as far as convincing you to vote D'riss rather than myself is concerned. Tough Crowd :sofa: :).

But would you mind if I ask whether you're voting for me because I am especially suspicious, or because you feel we need a lynch today?

OK fine, Silanah and D'riss should be talking their asses off at the moment, persuading people the other lynch is the better one. After thinking hard about it, I am not too sure about the lynch on Silanah. If you think about it this way:
1 Korlat is quite aggressive and loud, attracts attention -> he probably isn't scum, seems to me at least inno trying to get reactions
2 Silanah notices this, discards the idea that Korlat is actually an evil genius and scum acting this way to befuddle us, PIs Korlat.
3 Korlat, in a fit of pique, throws out a sarcastic comment which somehow gets interpreted by people completely lacking in any notion of sarcasm it seems that he is revealing finder.
4 Silanah sees silliness going on, which is slowly turning into a train on someone he thinks is inno, so he tries to disabuse the misguided people of their notions.

This all seems quite logical to me. The one thing that people say is that he defended too hard. But consider this, if you are pretty sure that someone is inno, would you not also fight for them, even if it meant putting yourself out there? I would, because Mafia is a team game, and the more of us who are still alive to lynch the killers, the better chance we have of winning.

i remain pretty certain one of you 3 is scum, at least
honestly, right now I want to vote Korlat.

@ Emu: I was hoping that if he was lurking he might see it and post.
I knew who it was and it wasn't a malaz regular, so he probably wasn't used to the 24 h modkill, seeing as we've been sticking with 36 for a while now.

hey, we're only considering our options.

I'm pretty sure I outlined my desire to lynch off korlat clearly enough.
