Good cheap games for the 360?

Well, recommend some. I have terrible luck with used games lately. They all seem to suck.
I'm not into FPS's, so don't bother.
Lost Planet - fail
Alone in the Dark - Fail
Enchanted Arms - Fail
Ninja Gaiden 2 - Sweet, but too hard.
Devil May Cry 4 - A bit repetitive.
Are there any games in the $20-$30 range that are pretty awesome?

Resident 360 expert reporting for duty.
First off Lost Planet is a major win, but that's my take.
If you are looking for some good cheap ($20-30) games, check out the Platinum hits collection,
http://www.xbox.com/...s/platinumhits/
They have a lot of good games there. Personally I would recommend Mass Effect (RPG), Assassin's Creed, Dead Rising, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion from that list. There are many other good games in there but some of my favorites are FPS, so that rules them out.
Another good way to get cheap games is to go to Amazon.com and check out the sellers of some of the older games. Many are available for $10 or so. I am going to get a bunch of older games from there soonish that I missed when they first game out.

Dead Rising bro. Dead Rising.
Also,
Saints Row
Hitman Blood Money
Crack Down
Gears Of War
Army of Two
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
I have 50+ Xbox games which I don't even really play though.

CALL OF DUTY 4 - Modern Warfare. There is not a better shooter out there, imo. I still play this one online.
Darkness is fun.
Im sure Halo3 is a 20$ game now.
I second Gears of War.
The Advanced Warfighters were pretty difficult, if you had problems with ninja gaiden black, which I found not that hard, you will have problems with them.
there should be some rpgs - like Lost Odyssey, that are cheap. I hear blue dragon isn't that good though.

Monster Hunter World Iceborne: It's like hunting monsters, but on crack, but the monsters are also on crack.

Yeah you guys list some fantastic games, too bad SS said he wasn't into FPS because imo that is the genre that defines the 360.
I still play CoD4 too, and CoD:WaW. That is a fantastic franchise, except for CoD3. I think that is one of the only games I never finished because I was digusted with it.

Thanks for the recs guys! I'll check some of those out. I've been thinking about getting Gears and Saints Row anyways...
I have Dead Rising but the disc got scratched and won't play any more. That'll teach me to move my console while it's running a game...
Maybe I'll have to give Lost Planet another go, if you think it's good, Stalker. I admit I didn't give it much of a chance...the graphics were pretty bland and the story didn't grab me, but I only played for a few hours...
Ninja Gaiden 2 - not Black - is pretty awesome but for some reason the developers decided to give the bosses unblockable/unavoidable super-powered attacks. I'm sorry, but I'm just not up to the frustration of fighting a boss battle 5 million times before I can move on. Sooo annoying. I don't like to lose and they make me lose over and over....
I beat the first Ninja Gaiden on the xbox, but I remeber it being pretty difficult as well. I think I had the guide for it or something.
EDIT: Oh, and I MIGHT just have to shell out the 60 bucks for Resident Evil 5 in a couple weeks. Any word on how that game is shaping, advance reviews, anything like that? The screenshots look awesome.

I liked Lost Planet, and was very happy to see that Capcom announced Lost Planet 2 like a week ago, will be great.
I agree that Ninja Gaiden 2 was difficult but I beat that, the final final boss I had to play about 100 times (I didn't want to reload) because my hp was so low that one hit would kill me. And it did many times until I won, and I felt great for it.
I have seen some reviews for Res Evil 5, it has been getting some very good reviews (9/10 ad such).Though I have seen complaining about the length of the game.
The next game I am definately buying is The Chronicles of Riddick: Assualt on Dark Athena. That is a deal, it involves the original retouched for this generation of console (9-10hrs long) which was one of my favorite xbox games and a new expansion that is also 9-10 hours long. This one involves a multiplayer mode as well which the first lacked. It will be sick.

If you want to try something different. Try Too Human its a mixture of DMC meets Diablo.

Try Fusion Frenzy. I know they came out with a 2nd one for the 360 specifically, but I haven't played that one.
The original for the regular Xbox was a very fun game that easily scaled for multiplayer. Think a different version of Super Smash Bros, with more varied gameplay. I was god-like at the turning screw level.

I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Oblivion is an absolute must play for everyone, even if you aren't into RPG's. Dead Rising is an all-time classic, as is Condemned for a non-traditional FPS that doesn't really use a lot of guns and has a huge shock factor.
Also if you haven't played Crackdown then you are just cheating yourself, it's the nonsense superhero-type game that we've all wanted to play, like forever. Run, jump crazy high, climb building, fire rockets everywhere, barrel roll cars, and just fuck off and collect orbs when you're bored....and smash bad guys (or good) with busses and shit.
That and if you're into racers, Burnout (instert number or name) is always fun to play, as is Forza 2 if you like more a Sim racer and have any sort of artistic talent (You should see my Boondocks Ferarri, it's da bomb!!!).
That's what I got off the top of my head, but Lost Planet sucked my smaller nut

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."
I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

I think there's a multipack out that comes with 3 elder scrolls games, including Oblivion? That seems lie a good buy.

RLY - I would Imagine that is Oblivion plus its two expansion packs, but I haven't checked it out.

Yeah the Oblivion: Game of the Year edition. Comes with the DLC content like Knights of the Nine and the massive Shivering Isles expansion.
I don't think there is an edition with all the games though, doesn't make sense unless you're on PC.

If you haven't played Oblivion, I think you really must. Now that we have a PS3 in the bedroom I'm considering starting again, but once I had enough money in my first run-through to buy and furnish the best house in the game, I lost interest.
Fable 2 is good fun as well.

Fable 2 is great fun. Although the way I've been playing it, it should be named Landlord/Redecorator 2.
