I also dislike Ruse's attitude. It's not at all helpful to come and belabour the point after the fact. If he wanted to be helpful, he should have been here to argue against it. That's neither here nor there really, but I'm not sure how eaxctly to go about finding the predator.

I would have proposed D'riss was killed to frame Serc, but I agree with the interpretation that Emulahn was a Predator kill and D'riss the victim of some pissed off human Marine, so I fail to see any reason for a frame.

The mods say not to read clues in the scenes, but if that's not what happened they need to chill with the creative writing

We know that our guts that Shadow was lying about being a Colonist turned out to be true. And if he was not a Colonist nor (in all due logic ) a Marine, then he could be anything, including the Predator. When I asked him why he said only "Alien", he answered:

Meaning on the lynch train, which again is a good point, but why didn't he say "Alien" again in this case, if by Alien he means Xenoc one post before? Once again, he seems for forget that, with the possibility that Shadow was the Predator, the Aliens would be happy to lynch him too.

It seems that Mockra twice subconciously forgot that Shadow could be Predator. I'm wondering if Mockra might be the Predator, he missed the speed-lynch and used it to quickly point to a Predator hunt where he was not, i.e. on Shadow's train.

Oh, and P.S. : In no way would I want to undermine what he said about scum being on Shadow's train. It's quite possible, specially considering that the scum teams are ennemies of each other.

One problem is that the train was quite fast, it is possible that some missed it completely. Plus the marines themselves had quite valid reasons to jump in.

Very high level summary:

Apparently alt/shadow didn't read/understand his role pm and implied that he was not a marine. People started voting him and he revealed as a colonist. He got lynched, and turned out to be a marine. Then 2 marines were killed at night.

qhat are you alt mark two??? a colonist is clearly not a fucking marine as it says marine in my pm clearly indication which faction i am from. if it said fucking colonist i would not think i was a marine and i certainly wouldnt expect anyone else to believe i was amarine when i said on thread i was a colonist. especially when in the movies every colonist is infected BAR newt. I asked alt if he was newt and stated that she wss the only non infected colonist and he went on to say that he wasnt newt but didnt know if he was infected. had he just revealed we would have not lynched him and wouldnt have wasted day 1.

its clear from the night scene despite the mods protest that emurlahn was killed by the predator and driss by a vigilante. Given some things said on thread i thought it was pretty obvious driss was a marine, so i assume this was the work of a company man. A big factor is that no alien kill is recorded as no doubt the head would have been bitten off or some such ala the movies. So if there are aliens in play they may have infected someone, or the company might have done that themselves.

tbh i think there must be aliens in play and they must be infecting people because the only way i can see veng avoiding us losing by to the predator early is if the aliens are more active than in the last game.

dont you start, xenoc boy. its a different thing posting inane shite for twenty pages and actually doing something of content. i was here during the day yesterday to discuss things and vote when something happened, i just didnt spam about dawn of war and the various definitions of the word alien. if people worrie more about posting content and less about spam it wouldnt be so hard for people to actually play the game.

There's little point overanalyzing the targets, but I doubt the Predator would act our of fear. Last time he was well protected, his point is to hunt Aliens and infected. Emurlahn was a good target for infection is my guess, since he seemed around to participate while not too aggressive. He also dropped out after a strong early game, he could have been an Alien that realized he was a little too out there and chilled.

so your revealing colonist too then? why would he have been killed night 1 exactly? last game there were 3 company, 1 preadtor and no aliens to start with so out of what 20 odd players 16 of them are marines or special innos like ripley or newt, hicks aint exactly a big character, and no doubt he would have been alirhgt because we would eventually have had to lynch him in case he was infected. There are no mention f colonists anywhere, they arent a team and have no winning conditions. The only category they could fall under was infected and thats only if they were from the start, so use your brain, it was a dumb move at it got him lynched.

You are trying so hard to sound reasonable its fucking sickening. I dont know if you are the predator, but you are bloody annoying.

of course, i ran out to look for my gun and thought, why not use my skinning knife instead. cheeky bastard. i really dislike how people just shrug off the night kills, considering how little we got from day 1, the night kills are all we have.
