Looks utterly ridiculous. And fun. I'll see the hell out of it.

The thread title makes me laugh because it could read "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Trailer".

As awesome as this looks, its still a sequel so they'll probably find a way to overdo it and make it crap.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I only agreed about Predator 2. I haven't seen half the movies on that list and I liked a few of the ones that I did see.

You posting all in caps is so fitting based on the Doom marine looking like he wants to yell at everyone lol

What? It was a great urban adaption of the first film. Don't get me wrong I think the first one is the best, but the second one was awesome.

First off, Glover actucally comes off, slightly, believable as just a random cop faced with a predator loose in his city, instead of silly schwarzenegger who was a Super G.I.Joe. I liked him in that role. It was both a great classic action hero act but also a character you could sympathize with.

It had great scenes of pure awesome. The shoot out in down town LA where the super modern weapons were guns with laser pointers and the Predator crawled up the wall and hanged the skinned drugdealers from the rafters. Same scene where it's standing on the roof and Glover thinks he's seeing shit.

Then there's the subway shoot out where the predator slaughters an entire train because all the commuters are strapped. So cool. Afterwards it took the skull of one of the cops.

There's the Meatpacking place where all the predators cool gadgets are shown off and the grand finalle where Gary Busy gets cut in half with the super razor frisbee of death.

And there's the awesome chase that finally takes glover into the mother ship. The predator cutting off it's hand and using it's first aid stuff, much reminiscent of the first terminator film. There's the cool knife fight to the death. The trophy mantle with a Alien head hanging on the wall. And finally the revelation of the other predators and the fact that they've been hunting us for centuries at least.

That film was fucking awesome. I'd watch it right now if I could!

Dude, some sequels are good. Terminator 2, Aliens, Godfather 2.

I'm just worried they'll go the way of Spiderman 2 and turn it into utter shit.

and predator 2 was average at best, but D Glover did kick ass

ps- Charlies Angels 2....really....I mean....really.

CHARLIES ANGELS IS A MASTERPIECE OF MALE CINEMATOGRAPHY!!!

I kid you not, I cried tears of happiness during the opening scene because it was so awesome. The whole film is just one big excuse for fullfilling male fantasies.

The main protagonists were four hot women (I admit the verdict is still out on Drew Barrymore) who are basically just put into stoopid scenes as an excuse for letting them strut around in tightfitting clothes and having them run and bounce and shake their ass.

All the hot girls are nicely interchanged with gratuitous scenes of gun fire, explosions and asskickery. There was also an unfortunant addition of light hearted, idiotic jokes so that all the women didn't just immediatly leave the cinema, but I could live with those.

Anyone who didn't immediatly stop what ever they were doing and just stare at the sceen when Cameron Diaz came in pretending to be a german tourist and started frolicking about need to turn in their man-card. The line "I like to ride the bull!" may possibly be the greatest line in modern cinema. FUCK YEAH!!!

Why not just watch pron? Lots of them ladies are prettier than Cameron & Drew (i's gots a thang for Lucy), and it doesn't take as long because there aren't any stupid talky parts in between the parts like above?

Also, how can we talk good sequels without mentioning Empire, which was better than Hope?

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
