What does RotCG do to the Paran storyline?
Apsalar guesses correctly in Bonehunters that Paran is planning on going to Quon Tali. On the boards I read that Dassem says that the Empire is stuck there near Fist but we do not see this in RotCG, so we do not know if that was Paran.
Now in an interview with ICE he says that the synopsis to Stoneweilder will be on Quon Tali 2 years after the events in RotCG. Does that mean it will be after the Paran storyline? will he be stuck in Quon Tali that whole time? Will he be in Dust of Dreams at all? If ICE is going to do Assail does that mean he picks up the Paran storyline with Silverfox? Too many questions and I would like to sift fact from fiction.
Sincerely

Where is this mentioned in the book? I don't remember that.
EDIT: Never mind, I found it on google books. P177.
I don't think he will stay there long. SE did say that the last few books he writes will takw place outside the Empire, leaving the Empire itself to ICE. Maybe he's just getting something or someone there.

It's an old one, iirc. Long before TtH came out. But aye, ICE's territory is gonna encompass Mallick Rel's brand new spanking empire.
SE, presumably, is moving away to deal with the Crippled God/Jade Statues story arc.

@ Loric - do you have a link for the interview?
Err I am horrible at links and the like. I just learned how to do quotes...so here goes

Can always go to the website and look up past interviews on the top right and get the one from ICE that was from October 2008.
