That was an example of graphics and content, not a storyline in that case so much. There was a general outline but you do what you want. But Emur was talking about graphic vs. content in Oblivion's case I logged over 100 hours.

Edit: and that was before Shivering Isles- got another 25ish from that. The amount of content in there is insane.

I appreciate good graphics, but those games I play w/ good graphics usually have great stories too. Like Fallout 3, Elder Scrolls 4, Gears, stuff like that.

But I like some of the revolutionary games evn though they are no longer graphically on par- like Starcraft, Warcraft

Well, that's exactly what I'm saying, there's nothing wrong with having photorealistic graphics, but don't let the pursuit of visual perfection distract from great story/gameplay. I don't have an XBox, or a computer that runs the newer games, mostly anything since Vista's launch is out of my specs. However, I've played the Halo series, and none of them were graphically the best of any crop on the market, but they were great FPSs and had great stories. That is the sort of thing I want. From the massive amount of chatter I hear, Falout 3 had the story/gameplay AND the amazing graphics. That is the sort of game I want.

Speaking of photorealism... Call of Duty 4. Enough said.

LOL, sorry Emur. I have been way off in alts tonight.

Edit: For what it is worth I have a massive pounding headache, and need to study and work for hours to come. I'm not tip-top.

Did you just say Oblivion had a story line?

I don't like contributing to the spam, but Oblivion?

Dude, this really isn't spam. spam is, imho, completely random unwarranted and unsolicited comments. Kinda like what I was doing during the hour when I was the only one speaking. This is a real discussion, albeit a terribly, terribly off topic one.

Yeah, but don't post too much or you'll make us feel sorry for ourselves as well! :)

btw: @Whoever said Oblivion had graphics and content - true, it wasn't a bad game. But compare the content to that of it's predecessor, Morrowind, and compare the graphics. Tbh, the improvements in graphics are actually less than the decrease in content, imo.

I was talking about Oblivion Mockra. But I wouldn't know about Morrowind. I had at least 2 copies of it for my xbox but couldn't play due to constant freezing. Which was dissappointing. One was game of the year edition with all the expansions...

edit: maybe I should go back and play it. But there are too many other great games for xbox 360.

I'm around as well just finished the reading up. WTF Kaschan and Galain on the same team?

Fairly certain that neither would be a leader after that. Also I think the whole trains on them are pretty useless as well, so its like Day 1 again as someone else pointed out.

Still don't get the amount of defence Kaschan was getting though, it was the main factor in convincing me Kaschan was important.

Oh well back to the drawing board I suppose. Might go back and reread Hoods Path as there's a few votes on him already.
