Wouldn't it make more sense if he's trying to signal HP, his presumed leader?

Unless he arbitrarily picked HP as he claims and therefore those who hop on the train (or abstain/argue in a certain way) are his allies?

Another possibility I've been entertaining is that Tennes is drawing out people from other teams (assuming HP is a leader on a team other than Tennes) as others were accused of before (tbh I don't recall exactly who called out who).

I didn't, that was something suggested. I'm going off that idea, which was originally derived from some people thinking HP was a leader.

actually i said that tennes could have voted HP as a way for his followers to signal him. Not that hes trying to signal them

I have a minute and I wanted to get this in. I am voting for HP mainly cause right now the Fire are weak, and I think that HP is making an extremely obvious attempt to distance himself from the Fire. It isn't like we killed Scum in a game. Two people in a faction died then he reacts all happy like; the first time ok. Fine. I don't believe you but fine. The second time makes me tingle in a weird way (my doctor doesn't know what it is). So I think to my self why would someone make an attempt to say that he wasn't of a particular faction unless he is really of that faction and was trying to distance himself from them.
I know the next question is why would a person do that. Why would someone distance yourself from a faction that is in the weakest position? Cause they probably played in culture and know that fire is now on the chopping block. Weakest among us are the first to die.

That is why I voted for HP. I don't think that a 1st would make that kind of mistake. But a 3rd or 7th might. I would be fine with either one.

Yeah, there was a lot of shooting-of-the-feet in the game ... not that I'd know that from first-hand experience, of course, being such a skilled player as never to do something so foolish as to vote for Night really late in the game when we're on the verge of winning.
