In MoI, Envy makes a clear hint that her 'pup' Garath is in some way connected to the Hounds of Shadow.

At some point in HoC, I believe it's when Gamet is being visited by the ghosts of Raraku, there's a reference to 'two guardians captured and one vanished'. Someone here theorized that the two captured were the Hounds of Darkness that Onrack freed. Perhaps Garath was the one vanished?

Abyss, wonders what the pooper-scooper laws are for Hounds.
