I'm of the opinion that the participants know they're in this competition. Seeing how they've yet to post I don't think we need to wait for them any longer. Sept 30th as the deadline seems to me a practical solution. Those who haven't posted anything by then, well, tough luck

Apologies to all and I know today was Morgoths suggested deadline, however my service provider(daemon) went down today and I was unable to get on until now.

If people don't mind extending the deadline slightly I will try to do it tommorow.

I'm sitting on 600 words right now. Needs a little more work before i'll be happy with it, and my brothers got friends round tommorow, but I should be able to get it finsihed at some point tommorow.

Well, since none of the others have appeared to beg a further extension, I'd say ment's and my own fight be won on walkover. It's not an ideal solution, I'd much rather win by beating JA in a vote than this way, but we need to get the game going.
