OK, I'll step up and answer them:

1) While continuing trying to find MA does make sense - given the win conditions handicap I have a feeling MA must have some pretty awesome powers at his disposal, I am starting to become a bit concerned that we're developing some Julii tunnel vision. I'd like to see more emphasis on trying to find Brutus, and the Republican leader, assuming one exists. (Now that I think about it, everyone is going to say something along these lines, aren't they? )

2) Who do I suspect? Well, Rashan, you sound like you've got an awful lot of protection, which makes me nervous...might be worth looking into, although you say you're going to shed light on it as soon as possible. Apart from that, well, I suspect the low posters because they're hard to get a read on, especially Serc, who has managed to put suspicion on himself despite making less than 20 posts (impressive). Something that pinged my Suspicion-dar yesterday was the way Fener and Ampelas jumped on the train together, so they're a little dodgy in my eyes as well.

Actually, I believe he started Republic, I have some suspicions he's been turned by Marc Antony's good looks and strong features on night 1.

I missed it, when did he claim that?

If you refer to the morning scene of day 2, where he's obviously the one who can't strap his breastplate correctly, that's a continuation of his failed lynch the day before IMO

still republic, but getting my suspicions out now in case i turn and can no longer help my current faction. i have said to sh a few times i am coming to a conclusion which is just a development of my earlier mechanics specualtion. I believe the republic is the largest faction by a good bit, with the julii and brutii small but very powerful factions with roles much more aggressive than those of the republic and aided by bps of one kind or another. I think that silanah had a good role int he republic and over reacted which on this board is a very dangerous tactic. There are definitely recruiters and killers out there, like i said before the republic i think is hampered by starting large and having to rerecruit almost its own members from the other factions and havign no clear idea of who is where within it.

the brutii and julii seem to have intimate knowledge of their teams, which means they are small and powerful factions. Gems modkill must have been a serious blow to them therefore, while thyrllans lynch has hopefully reduced the size of the julii to an acceptably small number. I would guess possibly four members in those two factions against 12 stand alone republicans.

the brutii leaders possibly share recruitment and night kill abilities between two or three players, while the fourth acts as a public face to all new recruits while having some form of bp.

the julii possibly had 2 leaders inopposition without bps, but perhaps have paired healers or a healer with a bp who know their leaders identities and will be given as the public face of that faction.

the republic being the largest faction probably has 12 members with no leader. though soem players are possibly paired, and others are symps to the recruiter or next in line if the recruiter dies. i would suggest a plethora of passive roles, such as counters or hidden votes or day finds, but very few vigs or aggressive powers unless certain conditions are met.

Julii, since they seem to be the strongest. This would obviously mean taking out the elusive MA (whoever you are, you must be loving all the attention ), since he would logically be the recruiter.

None as to who belongs to which faction, I havent had enough time to do rereads that closely. The very low posters are, as per usual, suspicious by default. I'm hoping for explanations from Rashan and Shadow tomorrow, at which point I will decide how suspicious they are. Kess and Ampelas have both been pretty fluffy players so far, specially after their big splash day one.

I've already agreed that things may be unusual. I still think it would be unwise to assume anything regarding starting numbers. The double vote thing is still confusing me, although I'm not sure if actually determining who it belongs to will actually help at the end of the day. A silent voter would be more worrisome due to their ability to hide their allegience.
