Seems like I missed very little to say I was out for almost 12 hours...
After all the fuss over him, I decided to have another look over Silanah.
To start with, we had him talking about the game mechanics, saying the Cassius must be the leader of the Republican faction, despite the fact that Shadow had already pointed out that Cassius was related to Brutus and they worked as a team, so that struck me as a little odd. Quite possibly just a misunderstanding, but I could also see him as someone with a Cassius role trying to muddy the waters. Especially when he later says:

Hmm reading the post again, there is not a word of Cassius but it does speak of Cicero.
Wonder if either of them have roles or not.
Anyway, then I looked at the posts everyone is making the case over. Silanah says he doubts MA can recruit (something I myself was inclined to believe at the time, as a matter of fact) and as a result doesn't vote for Thyrllan, but instead goes after Kessobahn. OK, so it is going with the majority at that time (he was essentially hopping on the Kessobahn train at that point), but if you did think as he did it is logical to try and keep Thyrllan alive until MA is found. Fair Play.
Between that vote and his change of vote, Mockra, Emurlahn and Rashan all pop up and say they think MA has recruiting powers. So then he says: "Everyone obviously disagrees with me about MA's abilities, so I guess I'll join you". It does smack of going along with the crowd. I would hardly call three players 'everybody'. Silanah could quite easily have decided to stick to his guns for a while longer before saying something like: "You guys have convinced me that MA can probably recruit." And switching to Thyr. Doing it so quickly does seem suspicious. Later on Silanah has tried to explain his thought process, but it didn't go a long way towards convincing me.
Later Silanah comes out and calls Rashan 'obviously MA', which seems like a bizarre statement. Rashan is annoying, certainly, but he is pushing for the lynches of Julii. I am less inclined to believe that MA has the power to know who all the Julii are, so a tactic like this would seem reckless in the extreme on the part of Rashan if that were the case. It's more of an OMGUS, as far as I can tell. He goes on about Rashan for quite a while, before eventually calming down enough to point the finger at myself and GL. OK, I say to myself, fair enough, but he never provides any reason for it, just plops down a couple of names. That, to me, is unforgivable - at least put a little effort in! Construct a case, even if it's a bad one, so you can at least pretend to have a reason for doing so. As it is, it strikes me as someone who is casting around to find somewhere to plant suspicion on anyone they can, particularly in tandem with how he was going after Rashan earlier in the day - blindly and unthinkingly.
So in summary, I think Silanah is most likely Julii. Earlier in the day I was sceptical, but now I've had a chance to go through his posts it seems much more probable.
