It strikes me that these are utterly pointless unless the quote has one of two qualities:
a) is very significant and memorable
b.) allows the reader to deduce using logic where and/or when it comes from or who might be saying it.

Not bad for a wild guess..

Is it per chance the old archer who killed Coltaine? Squint or something.

New one, shouldn't be difficult, who are the two parties talking?
'If the dead could speak, _____, what would they tell you?'
'Little, I expect, beyond complaints about this and that.'
'Perhaps, then, that is all you deserve.'
'Oh, I lack honour, do I?'
'I am not sure what you lack,' _____ replied, 'but I am certain I will comprehend before we are done.'

Bugg would be too obvious, so I'll go with either Pust or Crone, more the latter than the former..
Uhm, fine I say it's Crone about Rake.

It was Bugg from MT. I guess I'm too obvious
Does it count as a correct answer though? After all, you did change your mind to Crone...

More specifically, it's Bugg talking to the one of Bubyrd's illusions at the Rat Catchers' Guild.
Since we gotta keep stuff moving, here's a new quote:
Who's perspective and who said the first line, and more context if you want. It's a bit of a riddle but if you figure out what they're talking about it should be easy...

It;s Kalam's perspective, and the line is said by Cartheron Crust.

It's be Haradas, obviously referring to the well-known name of Ilgrand Lender.
Seriously, AIJ, try to pick some quotes that couldn't be said by ANYONE in ANY book. It doesn't have to be an earth-shattering, momentous scene, but you should go for stuff that either has enough significance to make it memorable, or else a quote that could be reasoned-out into a small number of logical guesses...
As it is, I'm sure this is a Grey Sword...
