I think it's fairly safe to say ST is not the same person as Iskaral Pust. For one: if this was the case, it'd be even more silly of ST when he pretended Iskaral was going after Dragnipur to use it for himself. I can udnerstand this idea crosses your mind, but I'd find it very disturbing if it lingered

I think that only supports the idea. I don't think Cotillion would of agreed with Shadowthrone having Dragnipur, nor would anyone else. Iskaral Pust going for it, would see almost harmless with all the others after it. Perfect cover for Shadowthrone to get even more power - which is what he's always after right?
Yes, but if ST is indeed Iskaral Pust, then Cotillion would truely know about it, and if Cot knew about it there's not even a spot of shadow in ST that should think about blaming Iskaral for going after Dragnipur, even though ST didn't command it (as happened in TtH) because then ST would be basically saying "phew, lucky I didn't get my hands on Dragnipur. It was pretty fraightening when I suddenly stopped listening to myself". Even though when writing it I'm actually thinking this would be something ST might say, I still believe SE wouldn't let ST say these kinds of things, and that ends the deal.
Honoustly, Iskaral does have resemblances to ST, his God, but this doesn't mean they're both the same person. If you however do think they're one and the same, then I'm telling you the bhokarala that constantly follow Iskaral around are also ST, after all they're constantly trying to be like Iskaral too?
They're not the same, I'm pretty sure there's a direct conversation between ST and Iskaral somewhere. Allthough I can't seem to think of any moment where that does happen :s
