Hi guys!

Head on out to the blog if you wish to learn more about the forthcoming Stonewielder and all things Malazan! :w00t:

Many thanks to Adam, Ken, and Graeme for accepting to be my partners in crime for this Q&A!

Cheers,

Patrick

A spoiler alert has been included in the Q&A.

Odd that Esslemont didn't mind sharing this, as the man seems to be as scared of spoilers as authors such as Bakker and Hobb. . .

Thanks Pat. Your blog is one of the sites I check compulsively. For some reason I really liked this part:

"Without giving anything away, can you give us a taste of the tale that is RETURN OF THE CRIMSON GUARD?

If I was to sum it up as tightly as possible I guess I would say it’s about the misguided urge to hold onto the past when the world has moved on (as it inevitably does) - the inability to let go when wisdom would dictate that one must - and the consequences of such failure. That would be one particular driving theme. "

I AM SUCH AN IDIOT! I was reading that interview and havent read rotcg and sure enough, when it warned me not to read the rotcg spoiler in one of the answers, guess who read it? That's right, me. Anyway, I had to post this somewhere because it destroyed my mood and I figured I should let as many people know how mad and dumb I feel right now. hahaha. have a good night!
