As for the door, Gothos, only the bottom door knob was locked (hence why the door was locked and her without a key). no deadbolt....

Haven't been well today, didn't get up till late afternoon then had to look after the house while the parents were out in that less than two hopur time frame I managed to get jehovah's witnesses at the door, one of these phone survey people who was a nightmare to get off the bloody phone and went on for ages beforehand making me think it was a personal call and then it started pissing down with rain and I had to get in four sets of bed stuff. So now I am soaked and twice as knackered as before, I am retreating to bed for the time being.

LOL I get that sometimes. Way back when I started in the Civil Service I'm told that a number of the gay men in the office had a bet on as to whether I was. Apparently most of the bets were on yes, but I'm afraid a few people lost money on that one :yes

Messing with my groove:

My laptop's graphics card is toast, probably literally since my computer's been having temperatrue-tantrums in the last couple months.

Upside: Computer under warranty.
Downside: 10 hours on the phone and I still can't find an authorized repair center within driving range. There are 3 in SoCal that will do it, but they ONLY ACCEPT WALK-IN REPAIRS

Anyhow, I might have to ship the bastard off to bum-fuck to get it repaired, then pay the shipping back.
