Crawl under your desk and have a nap.
Go on, you know you want to!

I would caution against directly involving yourself into a cheating spouse situation unless you consider that person to be family and/or are being paid to do so. It's a ton of emotional labor and there's a decent chance you'll come out with some mud on yourself too (because displaced anger and grief/sadness is a very real thing that stinks to deal with).
Good luck with the syllabus and the hustle/bustle of things, Loki.

Note to self: do NOT wear scrunched up sweater all day long on top of cast @ work.
Today was mostly client meetings, so I kept it on so as not to put people off too much.
Now I get home to find a huge deep purple bruise on the insideof the bicep, just above (or is it below?) the armpit.
Doesn't hurt or anything like that, but so many crushed blood vessels can't be healthy.
tomorrow onwards, I'll be wearing just the short-sleeve dress shirt and people can say w/e

I entered a competition that wasn't region/Country restricted and won third prize. The prize is a gift card to an online store...that doesn't ship outside the States.

First Danish police officer to be killed in the line of duty in 21 years died today, after being shot on Tuesday. Some mentally ill idiot snuck up on him and shot him in the head. It's only a couple months since some other guy shot a different cop in the head but luckily he survived.
This kind of shit isn't welcome in Denmark. Makes me happy guns aren't more prevalent but also furious these fuckers are going after the people who protect the country.

Maybe the tree was just tapping you on the shoulder to say "Hey, don't saw through power cords, son."
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Aw man. Buzz Aldrin got pretty ill last week too but appears to be recovering. And his doctor's name is David Bowie!

Now that my arm is out of the cast, getting all kinds of pain in it, as the swelling is slow to recede, and muscles are protesting the fact that I need to bend the arm more (or make it straighter)
And because there's swelling and so much fluid, getting all kinds of weird sensations in the joint as i'm trying to figure out what I can and can't do with it yet.

Ugh was up on roof chainsawing a tree that had overgrown our computer room sky windows. One of the large sections sections fell backwards into my shoulder. Not cool. Suck my dick asshole. I'm going to enjoy burning you in the weeks to come.
And I sawed through a power cord also. Sparks shooting everywhere. Smooth move Tanner....

Dude...
That's two signs that you don't know what you're doing regarding chainsawing trees. Either get better at it or get someone better to do it. A broken shoulder/collarbone incurred while on a roof is no joke.

Actually it is a joke. It goes:
Q: What did the tree falling in the woods say to the man with one hand clapping (due to a shoulder injury)?
A: Nobody knows, he couldn't hear it over the sound of all that clapping. By the way, he's up on a roof.

One of these days a bus is going to kill me. I am not even being hyperbolic.
My head already touches the roof. The handrails have these steel holders. One of these bashed me in the back of the headwith its sharp edge. I honestly thought I had fractured my skull

I am currently dry-docking my Murray River turtle - Tarquin - but they are seriously stupid.
Turtles need water to properly swallow their food and he keeps picking his food out of the water bowl and shelling up in a corner with it. So I have to stand there, wait for him to start to choke and the pick him up and press his head into his water bowl.
I mean, either he is the dumbest turtle alive or he is attempting to kill himself.
Either way, it's really annoying. I think he is doing it on purpose now as he just sits there with his food in his mouth starring out me before trying to eat it. He is taking longer and longer to do it. Bastard.

Norovirus. I feel like SHIT. Ugh. Only just able to function, up 12 hours now, no food (tried some soup, lasted 2 seconds)... and I'm contagious to boot.
