Agree, swaddling works like a charm. Though it should be noted that IF you swaddle, the time will come down the road (usually once they can turn over onto their stomachs on their own) when you'll have to wean them off being swaddled. That's the trade off.
Also recommend leaving them with one arm out of the swaddle.
And you don't even have to do it with a blanket, you could use SwaddleMe ones and they change as they get older (eventually a sleep sack which just keeps their body in and both arms out.
