Bullied. Seriously? She gets to do that to you now?

... do you have a lawyer yet? ...did you run this by them?

As for moving, if you end up carrying heavy shit and fuck up your back you are the world's massivest sucker.

...Gust... Stop. Stop being the victim. Just stop.

Can echo Abyss. Dude, why are you letting her do that to you? Yours be free from this horrible time in your life quicker if you stood up for yourself a bit... I hope it all goes smoothly for you!

Don't forget Gust has to make sure his kids have somewhere to stay.

Stay strong Gust, you're cutting those ties one strand at a time. You will get there!

With him. He has to make sure they have a place to stay, with him.

She has to make sure they have a place to stay with her.

...or they go stay with him.

Subject to whatever laws may apply, I dont think spousal support automatically equals co-signing for credit... no benefit to the kids if one parent can drag both down.

Anyone else missing Gnaw? He was like the great-great-grandpa I never had. Hope he's doing well. I suppose the fact that he's not back early is a good sign though. Shoulda thought ahead and asked for a mailing address for post cards or something.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Yep. Hopefully he's fine.
Although I don't think they would've allowed him mail any more than they allowed email.

Ah, I thought the email thing was a matter of instant, back-and-forth conversation with the outside world (which is ripe for treatment interference). He said he was ordering books to be delivered there still. But if it was a complete communication cutoff then yah you're right.

Thanks all. Yeah, it boils down to what Mezla was saying. There are certain battles to fight and others not to. She fortunately called in all her churchy friends and they did almost everything. I helped a bit, breaking down the playhouse and getting rid of the scraps, cleaning floors and fridge, etc. But the main thing was that emotional abuse. She always used to say she detested emotional blackmail, and now she turns to it. Gods, I want this hell to end.

Next battle in the ring is financials where we fight over the massive credit card debit and jointly filed taxes for this last year.

She has pushed me over the edge though. I am bringing in a lawyer, as soon as I find one and get a loan to pay the retainer. I have no money to do so on my own.

Again, thanks all. Trying. Trying not to get fucked.

Burn-related pain got bad enough that he checked into a pain management place for a few weeks. No tech devices allowed.

He can do it, especially with the books he stocked up on beforehand.

My job is killing me. I am pretty miserable and have been having stress dreams every night. I can't go back to being unemployed though, and haven't worked Thai job long enough to leave in good terms and expect any sort of reference.

Also, my wife is sweating me to have another baby. I don't like disappointing her, but don't want another kid.

So, I am in a relationship that will reach 5 years this April. And I still have no clue what to say when she says "I don't look good." She looks exactly the way she did before, no change, but whatever I say, however nice, it just bounces off. Literally nothing works. Its confusing.

Next time say 'You look so amazing, every time I get a glance of you my dick becomes hard like diamonds'.

Then you win. You win all the things.

Yeah, like Obi said, when she says that you gotta compliment her. Doesn't have to be anything spectacular, just a simply "You look as gorgeous as the day I met you." will suffice. Having days where you don't feel like you look good is perfectly typical of lots of people (I have them too), and the best thing is to just give them that little booster that lets them know that TO YOU, they look awesome.

But what do you do when she takes the compliment, smiles sadly and says "you are very sweet, but I am ugly"

Just reinforce by saying "Not to me." Even if she doesn't outwardly show the booster helped her...full disclosure: it probably still did and she's just not willing to say "Yeah, you're right, I am!" yet. Example: You know how when you are in a bad mood it takes you a bit to get out of it even when the thing that caused it is gone? This is like that. She's probably feeling down, and though your booster WILL help, she's not out of the funk that caused it yet, so just try to make sure she knows how you see her. The rest will be up to her, in time.
