I'm currently typing a manual for our new MS CRM system. Mindshatteringly dumb as I have to describe in full detail every possible option as if my co-workers were mentally disturbed. To quote from my own work:

The cursor is now positioned in the First Name field. Enter a name (or leave the field blank if you don't know the contacts first name), then press Tab.

The cursor is now positioned in the Initials field......

and they will still bugger it up...............

finished framing a house w/ a sub almost a month ago now, Still waiting to get payed for the job. I'm almost down to boiling my boots for dinner, but I need them for work. He says he is getting jerked around by the contractor and doesn't have the money to pay me himself, meanwhile I just get poorer and poorer, at this point that money is already gone, but its tough juggling the bills w/o this money. there, my pity party is done

Just got a quote for a new kitchen and it was way above budget which means there's a lot of shopping around and negotiations still to go. Anyone who thinks I'm giving 2 men £3,500 for a weeks work is living in a fantasy land

Well at least the cops didn't find the munitions BEFOREHAND. That would have been tricky to explain.

Hmmm, as part of a festival burlesque was introduced to me. Admittedly I don't have much experience with strip tease but they both seem to involve taking your clothes off while dancing to music, right? And we, the audience, were even asked to howl and whistle whenever the girl took off a piece of clothing. What exactly makes burlesqu different than strip tease? :)

Burlesque doesn't strictly have to involve stripping, though it often does. We went to a burlesque show once called Feasting on Flesh. There was a lot of flesh. A LOT of flesh. In fact, most of the show was performed nude, or nearly so!

I did my own kitchen last year - waaaay cheaper if you don't mind the effort. I hadn't done anything like it before, but we bought the units and tiles, then gutted it and installed the new stuff over a weekend. Then I tiled bits of the walls and the floor after work over the following week. We got the kitchen stuff when a sale was on, and didn't have to pay anyone anything. (My gf's parents spent about £2,500 getting a kitchen fitted, and ours looks much better, and cost half that).

Groove is messed - I have another chance at an entrance test on friday; more calculations, and last chance at new job application.. no pressure then.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

i know everybody has their own problems to deal with and sorry in advance forthe ramble and bad spelling and language but please bear with me for a bit........
my gf for the past 2 years has suddenly realized that she is immensly sexually attracted and may even like a guy she has known for less than 2 weeks. in her own words, "i cant get him out of my mind"(translated from japanese). i dont know if i m just a fuckall bf but i ve done everything i can think of to make her happy and yet i dont understand how she can even consider jeopardizing a 2 year relationship 4 a guy she barely knows.........
maybe i m stupid (its very possible that i am) but i thought living with someone for over 8 months guarantees that such things wouldnt happen...... i dont blame her for being attracted to the guy but fucking up all that we have right now for someone who is only going to be in japan for 3 monthsand doesnt even know if she likes him......well thats a little too much to take for me.
what i told her was that she should talk to her friends and this guy (have dinner or lunch with him) and find out how nuch she likes this guy. if he can make her happier or as happy as i can make her then she should go for him but i may not take her back after the 3 months are over. she says that she loves me and feels really guilty about the whole thing and that she hasnt cheated on me yet but i dont know what to think. i trust her about the cheating thing but i dont really know.......
i am in the middle of my exms right now and this is really pressure that i dont need. did i make the right decision to give her an ultimatum like thta or should i have handled it better? i asked her to make a final decision in 2 weeks. i hpe i have ritten everything...i m quite drunk rite now and am not too sure if i have made all the points i thought of.........
plz 4give me for asking aqnd thank you for ur replies

I think you should have given a stronger ultimatum than you did. Make it clear that if she indulges in this, you will NOT be there waiting when she's done. Stick to that. I understand love and not wanting your relationship to fail, but yoo need respect from her and yourself. It's not OK for your girl to go have a fling and then just come back when she's done. if she's willing to that, you need to move on.

Yeah, what Ray said. You are being too soft with this. It's ok for her to be attracted to someone else, it is NOT ok for her to act on it in the slightest.

I understand that you've invested alot in the relationship, love the girl and don't want to lose her, but if you allowed that to happen and took her back afterwards it would still be over, you'd just have a more protracted and drawn out ending. There's no real way the relationship could survive.

I agree with RLY. If she wants to go and tryout someone else, then whatever, but you can't be ready to accept her back again afterwards. If you are, then what's to stop her doing that over and over again? It's not a good precedant to set, and if she wants to be with you, then she has to stick with you, and find some control over her libido.

It's pretty mental that Raraku's girlfriend admitted to it! The rest of us just bite our fist and pretend we don't want to hump someone else rotten, until it goes away!

Messing with my groove. Career/life decisions to determine my next 3 year contract. Why does what is best for my career never compliment what is best for my frickin personal life?

@ Raraku

I think it's good that she was honest and told you about this attraction, but I also agree with RLY. If I were you I wouldn't have said it was okay for her to go out on a date with him. If she loves you, whether she tells you about them or not she should be stomping on these lustful feelings, not acting on them and sussing this guy out for potential. She needs to make up her mind before she does something that will hurt both the both of you - breaking up clean is better than breaking up due to cheating.

Maybe she just wants an open relationship. That might be an option worth exploring for her. Dunno about Raraku though.

Those things take work - and LOOOOTS of honest communication.

I have to play a game of football tommorow-it finishes at 5:00 PM and is in the city. Gets pitch-dark at 6:00. Parents can't pick me up. Have to make my own way home.
