Really? You're going to hold his salary against him? As if you, if you were in his shoes, would say no to the millions the clubs throw after you. It's not the fotballer's fault that they get paid ridiculous amounts of money to play, it's the clubs and the people like Macros, Tapper, Simeon and I that fuel the club's insane budgets. I'm not even sure a club would accept a player being on a decent wage - it would make it harder to keep the player if another club wanted his services.
1. Yep, I certainly would take all that money and blow it on fast cars and faster women and not, say, give a lot of it away to charity thus fighting the brokenness of the system in whatever highly visible way I can regardless of how effective it may be
2. That is a great argument for max capped wages, that way clubs can spend money that would be adding another million to a bank account in the Caimans on things like improving the grounds and maybe even lower ticket pricehahahaha
