If you do, burn it actually, no, burn it. Definitely don't wear it there burn it before you leave the house burn it now burn it burn burn burrrrrrrrn, and if somehow you find it on your head while walking inside take it off since it's incredibly rude to wear a hat indoors, and burn it genuinely and honestly just set it on fire there and then.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Me too!

It's an authentic Indianna Jones fedora courtesy of an awesome present from Shiara ;)

Started thinking about the future and how many people will still be in it after a few years. One of my friends unexpectedly moving to Brisbane has triggered this line of thought, and I fraggin' hate it.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Thank you, I've just won a bet.

Anyway, here's an article that at first I thought was from The Onion. Then I realized it was from The AV Club, and that's when I gave up once and for all.

That part was a joke. I just felt in my gut that he owned a fedora.

Have a court appearance on Wednesday.

What do I wear? I could dress the part of the college student, considering this guy is suing me for basically a whole year's tuition, room, and board. Or I could try to be presentable.

I ordered 4 Alastair Reynolds books off the Book Depository--the 3 Revelation Space novels + Chasm City.

To date, all have arrived, except Revelation Space.

My flight back to school is at 8:05 AM tomorrow. These were to be my reading for the semester, but i'm missing Book 1 of the series!

Aw man that sucks! You could FEASIBLY read CHASM CITY first...as it's not directly related to the events of the trilogy...but yeah I read RS myself first.

Damn. Wanted to watch one of Miyazaki's films but it seems I've lost the folder to all of my animated movies. I formatted my old PC and gave it to my brother and it seems like I somehow forgot to copy all that.
No Touchy.

Welp. Sounds to me like you've made your bed.

Though, piracy is so very easy it couldn't take more than a dozen hours to replace what you've lost.

Miyazaki's films are WORTH owning on DVD or BluRay. They are cultural tour-de-force's that showcase a man who's work is largely more influential on Animation than Disney's.

Buy them.

You can totally read CHASM ahead of RS, and i'd actually recommend it because the tone and story of CHASM are radically different from REVSPACE and the following books.

Dunno if this would resonate with anyone not in CA, but Huell Howser apparently passed away. Truly one of the best dudes.
