I used a hair dryer to thaw the icing on a window so I could look outside for a few minutes. Didn't see any polar bear cavalry yet, but it's only a matter of time.

You got to live in one forsaken place.. At least you can dry the laundry quick. Just stick the wet cloths out the window, wait some minutes and brush of the ice. Works like a charm.

Two days ago I was walking up the street fully attired (Coat, gloves, toque, scarf) and the cold that was nipping at the exposed portions of my face was so bad it prompted me to shout "Fuck you Jack Frost! Come at me bro!"

I'm sixish hours east of you in the Albany, NY region. So... it can be this cold, but it hasn't been regularly so for a while. Last winter, I didn't get to use my sweet winter boots which I'd bought to replace the decade plus old ones. This winter, I got to stomp around last week. We'll see if it happens again.

What do I wear? I could dress the part of the college student, considering this guy is suing me for basically a whole year's tuition, room, and board. Or I could try to be presentable.
