1. I still can't get on chat.

2. I'm looking at two weeks of deepest ukrainian winter without an internet connection and, possibly, without working heating. And with lots of boredom, as I can't do any work on my uni project without internet connection and there's absolutely nothing to do for me over there. Absolutely no one to see and nothing to do. And I will have to share a room with my mom. Somehow, the prospect of seeing my brother for the first time in years is really paling in comparison to two wasted weeks full of emotional stress and wasted time. Meh.
2.1. The fact that I will miss a whole week of lectures because of this ain't really cheering me up either. Neither does the fact that I will then miss another week of uni because I will have to work the hours I miss while away wasting my time.

3. Yay for this time of the year. Can we get over with it now, please?

The pack of cigarettes in the kitchen has been soaked slightly. I'm not sure what it is. I didn't do it. Makes them hard to light up and I'm slightly too hangover to go to the shop for more :(

Oh and addendum: the gf has a guy so deep in the friendzone it looks like he's a probe sinking into Jupiter... Feeling rather sorry for the guy.

I take it back - it does include one person on this board. Nico. Didn't think he'd show up in time for it to be relevant to that post.

(I've been dealing with a lot of people like Nidcodimas on another board. It's depressing. And scary.)


And just for clarity; I really don't think 99% of Americans are represented by any given sample of crazy people. It's just hard to remember that sometimes when confronted with some very different perspectives being thrown at you. :(

In all seriousness, that sucks. I love storms, but ours are traditionally somewhat less concerning than yours - and this time of year we are liable to have sunshine for Christmas. :(

My phone appears to have a faulty sim card or some such, as it says SOS ONLY at all times now. Thankfully, the wi-fi at home lets it work, but I still can't receive calls/texts. Rrrrk.
