Shitshitshit! A girl and I have been flirting for months now - so much so that everyone and their dog thinks we're a couple. But we're not. Which has been been a bit troublesome for me because a) I really want to kiss her; :) I really want to sex her; c) she keeps inviting me to meet her family; and d) I'm having huge issues with doing a), :) and especially c) without knowing what I am to her. So yesterday, finally, after she again invited me to dinner with her mom, I confronted her with this - fully expecting to be shot down immediately. But she said she'd think on it (as if the thought hadn't occurred to her before then).

Now I don't know what's going to happen. What she says she wants to be my girl? I've never been in a relationship before. Like, a proper one. I've had sex with girls I've been (and continues to be) friends with. But I've never called anyone my girlfriend. I'm freaking the fuck out now. Do I actually have to meet her family? Do I likewise have to introduce her to mine? I've never taken a girl with me back to my parents. They'll probably through a fit, thanking the gods I'm not gay and pepper us with questions on when that can expect a grandchild.

Dear fuck, I hope she turns me down.

edit -> Also, I totally thought it was AIJ writing this post.

oh you fucking bastard. I see your point but still, fucking bastard.

As a gesture of peace I offer you XKCD.

Try starting out at mediocre boyfriend level and ease into good if necessary.

Satan and Nico finding love at the same time. Could it be with each other? /tinfoilhat.

Touche my friend, touche :p I would bitch about that same topic right now but I'll let it go this once :)

It annoys me when people ask if they can crash gatherings knowing full well I can't say no without appearing like a dick. It's just a bloody nuisance and strikes me as arrogant, actually. I don't go around asking to go to things, because sometimes people just don't want you there-it's nothing personal.

Not at all, I just think that they're creating an imposition which you can't really say no to. I mean, you could, but it would sound pretty hostile.

You could quite easily say "It's not my call, sorry" or "(Person hosting party) doesn't take kindly to gatecrashers"

That abscess I had drained on Monday left a 2.5cm long (eh) and 3cm deep (aaaaaagh) cavity in my back. It's going to be freshly packed every day with stuff to keep it open and unhealing so that it starts mending from the bottom up, and I'll have this open wound in my back for at least 5-6 weeks. I'm working sitting down at a computer for seven hours a day, six days a week til the 21st.

Still, could be worse.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Was gonna drop in for some extra hours at work, but can't anymore, because falling really behind studying.

Got a 20 page paper and a 100% final--both tomorrow. Exam i'm OK on, but the paper's starting to stress me, as i'm expecting a sleepless night.
