The amount of vomit that is coming out is greater than the amount of food that I put in.

OK I don't want to start a discussion here, but the hypocrisy of this annoys me. The Christian couple who denied a gay couple to stay at their B&B have had 2 years of death threats & hate mail. Now, no matter whether you thought what they did was wrong (again, I'm not starting that debate here) but they stood up for their beliefs and stuck by it. Surely sending death threats because you disagree with someone kind of nullifiea your position and you lose any moral standing your argument had?

Death threats is definitely excessive for anything. Though they ought to be properly ashamed of themselves for being bigoted asshats, I wouldn't wish death threats on anyone.

This sounds like a violation of the Handkerchief Code.

Watching Top Gear (good) with celebrity guest Michael Fassbender (or however you spell it). Still don't get it. He really isn't much to look at and he even manages to fail on the irish accent. How do you fail with an irish accent???!

Probably one of the greatest working actor's today. He can chew up any scene he is in. That's why he's so beloved. He's utterly phenomenal at his craft.

Perhaps not one of the greatest, but his work in Shame should have netted him an Academy Award nomination at the very least.

Agree.

I also think that when you watch him in lesser genre work he stands out from other lesser thespians. Case in point: X-MEN: FIRST CLASS....he absolutely OWNS that film with his portrayal of Magneto.

Ah. Well then I would expect that's a personal preference level with folks.

I just spent 40 minutes on the phone with the ATO. Apparently the business activity lodgement forms I submitted seemed 'irregular'.

Well yeah! Since I didn't lodge any!

Turns out someone has been using my old (and believed to be cancelled) ABN and taxfile number.

Had to confirm my identity and then explain that I've never lived in Riverview and that I haven't applied for GST etc etc.

Thankfully I had all my old tax returns and was able to show exactly when I stopped working and when someone else started using my details.

I have to get a new taxfile number and they are going to launch an investigation.

Not all bad though, seems the ATO owes me money XD
