I am so horribly hungover. I couldn't go to work today because I was still trashed.

This is the last time I am ever drinking heavily. I've learnt mylesson. No more!

Major fires in my city, Colorado Springs, CO. Not sure if this is international news, but it is national news (US). My neighborhood just had evacuation orders enacted. Packing up important papers and keepsakes and hitting the road. Many homes up into the foothills NW of the city have been destroyed. I hope I come back to something. Please send positive vibes to this humble spot on the planet.

Sorry to hear about your job RLY. Hopefully the down time won't be too long.

I was just going to bitch about the fact that there is torrential rain here, and now on top of that we've got an electrical storm right overhead. The thunder is really loud, and some serious flashes of lightning.

Considering we just got our phone (and internet) back after nearly 2 weeks downtime (thanks to some idiot driving a JCB through a telephone pole), I really don't want there to be any lightning strikes nearby causing any funny business.
