My brother is a moron, I swear. Does he even grasp the concept of deductive reasoning? He just keeps on spoiling Mass Effect 3 for me, little things but just enough to make it grate (e.g. "Oh, this part's cool." Yeah THANKS A FUCKING LOT!) And then he has the nerve to get sulky and call me an idiot, because of course HE couldn't be in the wrong, oh no.

Next time he asks me something ME3 related I will punch him out. Or just not answer.

One tiny spoiler, one tiny drop of battery acid to the face.
If he is being foolhardy and persists in his wicked ways, he can star as TwoFace when the Batman movies reset again.

Fucking malware :p. Great scot, it's so annoying. All my files have been hidden, my icons removed, and my PC generally fucked with. I got rid of most of it fairly quickly, but my files are still gone, and me start menu is blank.

EDIT: Fixed! :p I felt like a god fighting off them malwares. Posted Image

There was a spider in my bed.. Granted, a small one.. actually, quite tiny.. but it was a freaking spider! In my bed! Creeping up on my face while I was nodding off! :p

I need to get these off my chest

A damned car kicked dust in my face.
Someone just addressed me as Mrs. In an e-mail, which is inexcusable. I am a Miss, damn you! :p

I just address every female person as Ms. which seems to avoid that problem (for the most part).

Yeah, me too, since that was what I was taught to do.

@Worrywort: If I could only reply to the sender a 'Thank you, Mr. Fatass'...

Haha, well, Ms. Fat Booty is by nature a compliment, while Mr. Fatass seems quite less so.

The construction crew down the road forgot to call before they dug and subsequently shattered a water main. I have no water and it may be up to a week before it is restored. At least I did laundry yesterday.

I don't intend to start a discussion - I just want to say that the way some people are responding to this article is just pathetic and one more reason to weep for mankind's future. :p

I don't know if you follow hip-hop, but the famous song Worrywort is referring to is this one: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=ZMivDvDKUdU

Mos Def was always underrated. Talib too. "If skills sold, truth be told, I'd probably be lyrically Talib Kweli."

I imagine that author is correct about fantasy in general (lily white farmboy saviors and all), but wrong about GRRM in particular -- he does focus on white characters for the most part, but also for the most part, they aren't exactly heroes. And sure the Easterners are the "exotic" ones, but that's still within the context (and perspective) of medieval morons slaughtering each other over a throne. I actually think complaints along those lines re: Martin are off the mark a bit. I think he's flipping the script plenty, even if it's still a medieval Europe based fantasy, because it wouldn't be honest to create non-weird cultures...just make sure to remember that Western-based cultures are just as weird. History, everywhere, is almost entirely the history of people being awful to each other. There is a somewhat tone deaf questioning of Mad Men in recent years, about the lack of non-white roles, and the response is basically: yah, that's a conscious decision, and part of the point! Though at the same time, that does mean in the real world a cast with very few slots open for non-white actors, which is problematic in another way. And indeed, in GRRM's books-turned-TV show, the same problem arises to some degree. But that's why we've got Steven Erikson, duh! Hopefully, as fantasy authorship diversifies, its ideas and peoples will too (and it wouldn't hurt to have a few non-white farmboy heroes too, at least for young adult readers).

P.S. I also don't intend to start a discussion, I expect my words to be taken as gospel, no discussion necessary. As usual, amirite???

Not discussing - just thought you might find this response by Ari Marmell interesting.

My groove is messed by the fact that I know I should be studying but I don't want to be studying. And I hate doing things I don't like. Humph!

Insomnia AND I missed the GOT premiere.
That's an entirely different story, though.

The tl;dr is the worst thing to happen that day was getting sand in my beer.
