Google is your friend. Just type "XXX GBP to USD" in the search box, where XXX is the amount in pounds. This works for most monetary conversions, as well as most measurement conversions.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Thanks, Salt-man. Conversion equaled $30.95 for 18.98 GBP. An add on for fgn svc fee brought the total to $32.27
Funny thing is the book costs $19.57. Dlvy fees made up the rest. Thanks again

Got my notice yesterday. I just finished Bakker's latest yesterday, now I have to figure out if I want to start something else or just wait for seven days for DofD to get here. Can't wait. Do you guys in the UK have it in hand yet?

Why have you posted what seems to be Wolverine comic links from Rapidshare in this thread? I highly doubt Rapidshare would have a copy of DoD on there, so I don't see the relevance. Me confused.

Ooops. Deleted the post.
I have a notepad file with a long, long list of rapidshare links that I am gradually downloading day by day.
Instead of copy pasting them into the address bar it's easier to just copy paste them on here and pressing the preview function, all the addresses come up as click-able links.
I of course did not intend to post the links, since piracy, which comic books on rapidshare generally are, isn't allowed.
EDIT: By the way, I'm pretty sure DOD will be popping up on Rapidshare sooner than later. The amounts of eBooks on there is staggering.

I found my play preorder listed as the 28th august, so had to cancel.
Borders website had the release date as yesterday, everyone else as today. None of the borders I went to had any copies out though, so I guess they made the date 1 day earlier on the website, as that would be the dispatch date?
Forbidden Planet or Borders this afternoon then I guess.

Weird.. the internet-bookstore where I buy books say they have the paperback in stock, even though it says everywhere that the paperback release is November 5th. The ISBN matches that for the paperback though

So, I've finally come to a decision, I think I'm gonna wait for the Jan 26th US release. Now, before you start calling me crazy, I already know that I'm crazy. But the more I think about it, the more other books I need to read: I'm in the middle of the first chronicles of Thomas Covenant, I have the first Dark Tower book by Stephen King, and I've been wanting to start ASoIaF sometime in my life, and I have school starting in a few weeks. So ya, by Jan I should be ready to buy it I think.
But I might still splurge and buy it off amazon.ca in Sept, but I'll see.
Now I just need to hide from this forum for like, four months
Easier said than done.

Yeah, I'll probably end up waiting until the Tor version shows up at my library next year. Though I might be tempted to order from The Book Depository if they have any in stock in October when birthday money starts coming my way. But it would still feel weird to buy a fullsized hardcover edition when I have the entire series thus far in MMPB.

I went into town and got it from Borders yesterday. The local Waterstones didn't have it, but I managed to get a copy. Yay!
