It will be followed in November by a UK hard cover version of GotM - just in time for the 10th anniversary.

Propose him (the publisher) to have Swanland redo the covers?

I'd buy the books all over again.

Just received the 2009 schedule from SE's publicist at Transworld, and Dust of Dreams is slated to be published on July 2nd 2009.

Let the countdown begin!!!

Patrick

Patrick,

Greg here in USA, is that a USA release date? I am a new comer to this forum and do not visit here much.

Negatory, that is not a US release date. If it was, the DoD forum would be exploding with crazy theories and "OMGWTF?" threads, but, sadly, it is not. The UK release date is August 17th (6 days!!!), I think the US release is sometime in September (import edition). You can always buy it off Amazon.co.uk (use the main site link to it if you decide to - the site gets credit for it) or the Book Depository (free shipping anywhere) and get it from England, but as far as I know the US release date is still a fair way off.

Yeah, you can't buy it off Amazon US until mid January 2010.

Is it racist to say: "Will it be called Dustski ofski Dreamski?" - probably, so...

Anyway, you must either know Polish, or they understand spoken English, so you should just record yourself speaking it in some language they'll understand - I'm sure that my take less than 2 years... Just...

Nothing racist in that. Something more like "Pył Snów" but that doesnt sound to good so theyll have to come up with somethin else. I speak Polish as I am from Poland. To learn a language to be able to read in it well enough to enjoy it you need  a litle bit more then 2 years. But I will tell them your advice

I just checked the Borders website, and according to it, the Australian publication date is October 1st. Sorry fellow Aussies, looks like you'll have to order from the UK if you don't want to wait a month and a half...

Moo hoo ha ha.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I'm wondering whether to cancel my Amazon order, phone Waterstones on tuesday and pop into town to get it quicker...

Waterstones always discount at least £3 off new fantasy hardbacks, so if you include postage on the amazon order, you're not really gonna be saving much money ordering online at all... and if you go and buy it you should get it a day earlier if you're lucky :)
