i don't know.. Agyala seems nice in a strict sort of way while the QoD strikes me as vicious to say the least

Morgoth... what are you on about?
Are you saying Agayla is too nice to be an ascendant?
you're prolly right.. and on thinking back.. perhaps Agayla as Weaver of Life is aligned with the Queen of Weaving.. in the way that Mogora is aligned with Ardata?

No, more like that as T'riss she is life aspected.
The wiki's work is good, but there is a fault :
Life Slayer and Death Slayer are of the High House of War, the two last cards of this House that Fiddler shows.

I got that impression too, but Mal who's got an inside track on these matters thinks differently... not sure why.

Got Sirhas votes like my on that, but anyway I would bet it with my hand on Hood's rotten balls.

I'm thinking Agayla is a priestess of Jhess, possibly with a seat in the HHLife, but not Jhess herself.
More like an uber-powerful mage/priestess, like Tays. Not a goddess.
I base this on her acting directly against the Stormriders with Obo and Tays. A goddess would not likely have become directly involved in protecting Malaz Island.
- Abyss, needs a new scarf.

Hetan said:
Agayla is the Weaver of Life
hope that helps
I'm going to back-track on this.
I'm going to go with the Eres'al being Weaver of Life.
It's the whole bath thing you see... tie that in with the converstion between Nil and Nether and the smelly fur.
Agayla is a clean, neat person, and would certainly not need a bath.

Tayschrenn thinks in NoK that Agayla is aligned with the Enchantress. Enchantress presumably means Queen of Dreams (at least I can't think of any other ascendant it woould fit), so it suggests that Agayla belongs to High House Life.

Agayla, the old witch of the Mouse, the tutor of Kiska and, for what I can get form all the books where she appears (Nok, TBH), may be a minor god or at least a very powerfull ascendant.
We can see in TBH that Bottle is link (well form a little far) to her. We can see to that the little Mockra trick used for infuriating the mobs doesn't work on her (abd after Nok, it doesn't even surprise my).
Nok spoilers :
It seems taht she is perfectly knowing what happened with the CG and that she can manage to help to save the world ("Can I help you to save the world ? Of course I can").
So, who is she in thruth and did I forget something about her ?

I think personally She is not some minor God or powerful ascendant.
And you appear to have that confused as well.
Ascandents can be more powerful than gods. Some can be a LOT more powerful than gods. The only difference between an ascendant and a god is that a God is usually an ascendant that is worshipped, which therefore makes him a God. Just an Example you have the Tarthenal Gods and Silchas Ruin, Silchas floored the remaining Gods that Iron bars didnt Kill.
Agayla Though is just a powerful witch Me thinks.
Is she Bottles Grandmother ? I thought when bottle referred to his Grandmother, it was his blood Grandmother not Grandmother in the friend sense (ala Kiska).

Nope, he has a uncle who have married the cousin of some distant aunt of her... Or so I remember.
for the difference between Gods and Ascendants, I know, but what I have meaned was that she could be a minor god with few workshipper (even if it is right that it doesn't fit her well) of just a very powerfull ascendant (she doesn't seem to breack a sweat pulling the sotrmrider back).

I do not think the fisherman and Fisher kel Tath was the same person.. Just doesnt fit into anything we know of neither Fisher kel Tath, the fisherman and what ICE, Pallor and SE has revealed at one point of the other..
Just because his first name is Fisher, do not mean he is a fisherman
Just because his first name is Fisher, do not mean he is a fisherman

Yeh I dont have the NoK on me but I dont recall Bottle being a direct relative of Agayla, that Unlce thing though sounds familiar.
Also dont recall Fisher in NoK
From what I remember as well of NoK Agayler and her friend (forogt who, some other warlock dude) were going to try and hold them off, but they werent sure if they could do it without Tays.
Oh and Im moving this to the NoK forum.
This is basically on Agayla, a character pretty much well only central to NoK so far.

As I don't remember it ecxactly... is she the actual Weaver of Life or just appeared as that card in one reading/game?
And then, please remind me who Kiska is and where she appears

Kiska is one of the main characters in NoK and appears very briefly in BH.
As for Agayla... there's more than just that reading of Fiddler's.....Tays asks Kiska what her aunt does at Winter's Return - Rider's Retreat... and she remembers her aunt sitting up all night, from midnight's bell till dawn's light. Weaving. All night. ... and replies "she weaves".
