I just discovered you can make cakes in the microwave!!!

No more hour long wait at midnight when I decide I just have to have cake!!!

Civilisation has clearly peaked.

Happy Constitution Day. In an hour I'll be happily drinking champagne in the sun, occasionally waving a flag.

"Ripley, what are Fred and Daphne doing"

"Daphne hurt her foot so Fred is giving Daphne a hug."

"Of course! That's really nice of Fred."

3rd week at the creative writing group last night. It's really encouraging to read some of my writing and get a response. It has inspired me to write more myself!

Also, on the weekend we bought a new car.

Well I ll be damned. This new dr I've got to see to continue on getting my pain management was so awesome. He was fascinated and said so with me today and spent almost an entire hr examining and asking me things. He's only the 2nd dr to make me feel like he 100% believed me and didn't have a doubt I was lieing just to get my pain meds. So he's faxing my dr to tell him to let me stay! Bad news is he suspects this is something fairly bad and is going on record saying I need to be on disability(I don't think he would say this lightly to a fit looking 35 yr old). I won't yet say what he suspects it is just cause I'm kinda scared and want to be 100% it is that.

So great/shitty news today but I ll stay positive and put in happy thread.

It is nice to hear that someone at least is taking your pain seriously. Maybe something even better will come off this? Also will this solve your prescription med issues?

I don't tend to pay much attention to my health - I do zero organised exercise, drive everywhere, drink far too much alcohol (when not up the duff) and am a total pig when it comes to my diet although I do try to keep it varied. Despite my pregnancy ailments of lots of pukage and hip pain my routine midwife checks register me as fit as a fiddle. My blood pressure is absurd for such a lazy sod. It's awesome! One day overdue though. I was feeling quite ready for it all but starting to feel like these things happen to other people and I won't actually have a baby at the end of all this.... I checked and apparently they do always come out one way or another.

Had one of those epiphany things today. The right thing got worded in the right way at the right time and a huge bunch of shit fell into place for me. CBT rocks.

Afternoon solo trip to the cinema. Hoping the Captain America surround sound doesn't rupture something while I'm out on my own.

If the film triggers labour you're going to have to name the child Bucky. Whatever the gender.
