Hooray for coffee!
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I was casually discussing aloud to myself how I would totally 'hit' Fred (Scooby-Doo) when my son (who, once again, I forgot is only 2 years old...and also present) informed me that 'No, hitting bad. Mummy, you say sorry to Fred!'

So, basically, I spent a good five minutes apologising to not only a figurine of Fred but also to the covers of several Scooby-Doo movies. Posted Image

And you're not complaining, you're criticizing. It's a side-effect of being better than everyone else, I get it sometimes too.

Well, he is right, you really shouldn't randomly "hit" people plus Daphne would be quite upset!Posted ImagePosted Image

Lack of money coupled with a voracious reading habit has left me without new books. I am rereading some malazan. I forgot how good they are

Don't ever forget!!

Yeah I just reaslied that I don't have to fly home first to join my family on our Spanish summer holiday.
If I just fly from Italy direct to Spain it costs £35.
The flight to Newcastle is £170. Plus the extra time off work.
I'm saving a bastard fortune.

I'm hoping to convince my girl to come over to Italy in August with the kids when I finish up. That way, we can all drive back together. Staying in Switzerland and France on the way.
Snape family road trip.
The money saved here, has pretty much just made that road trip more likely!!

To think I actually had to convince her....

I'll alert all the single women I know in CO.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I actually do know one, but she -- and I am 100% not kidding about this -- married her high school sweetheart, had two kids with him, and eventually came out as lesbian after years of repression, so they got divorced (they're on good terms now though).
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Yeah, ironically around the same time one of my classmates came out officially and declared her divorce. Popular time to do so evidently.

Grad school and med school are nearly incubators of breakups and divorce. Usually a big schedule shift occurs and there's a ton of pressure to work well with people who are around all the time - who aren't the spouses married prior to all this.

Kinda weird how a simple schedule shift and forced socialization with others wrecks relationships, but hey, at least we had Prince soundtracks to do all this with.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.
