I just finished Reaper's Gale, and it was fan-flippin'-tastic. The best one so far by a mile, for me.

Awesome! That was my favorite on my first read through also.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

It was probably my fave the first time through too. Nowadays I'd most often go with TBH or TTH, but they all float there on the surface and an errant wave of mood might push nearly any of them up at any one time.

Say what you will about RG, it's not a bad book by any measure. To wit,
Spoiler

That said, my favourite is either MT or TTH.

So I've been procrastinating re-reading the series (And completing it, I only went up to TTH) and for some reason this totally just kicked it off for me.
Spoiler
Yep. Starting tomorrow.

I had no idea anyone even knew who I was. This statement makes me feel like a prominent and important figure of the Malazan community. Now I'm off to celebrate my new-found (in)famy and bask in all of the glory to come thereof.

Last night the GF and I looked at our first venue...(no I've not proposed yet, but we have to start looking this early at venues if we want to get it, and the proposal is coming in the next two months-ish)...and it became real, and it made me happy.

So yeah. Happy.

Don't do it. Or maybe I'm just bitter.

I'm happy for you.

It's okay you two, her opinion on all things Malazan doesn't count, she won't even finish the series, so much she has no idea about.
In fact for someone claiming her title there is much she doesn't know about our dear old QB :p

I got to attend a Harper Collins event today and meet one of my fave authors, James Rollins!

Yay for Scientist Archeologists with Guns!

He was funny, informative, and very kind.
