Apparently some chain in Canada called Chapters got em way early. QT got one too. I've never even seen one of those stores before. I assume its like BAM?
Not familiar with BAM but chapters indigo is the Canadian mega bookstore chain.
They got it on the 15th and weren't displaying it yet but it showed online as available so they got me one when i asked, bcs QT had done the same thing earlier in a different city.
200 pages in now. The shakes have stopped.

I wonder if bookstores have penalties for releasing novels before the international release date, like when a game breaks street release.
Not that I really care. I'm not a Dresden fan.

It's time to ban Canada and Australia from the board.

I don't think Street Date's are stringent for Books as they are for other media.
But in the long run mega-chains probably don't have to care about fines.
Either way, not only did I get it early, I finished that bad boy this aft!

Tonight was the first run of the show with an audience and it went swimmingly
Also, I got a reply to one of my many acting applications for the first time in, like, ages. So that's totally awesome.

Went to the Ipswich Horror Film Festival with Matador and a friend.
It was brilliant. We watched a guinea fowl crap its own face out. Yep.
Then we deconstructed the films over chinese food. My favourite was called The Cave. To the unthinking person it was just a movie about a man who seeks out and kills a vampire in a cave but the true meaning behind it was obviously a cautionary tale for young women about the perils of allowing a man into their 'cave' and how it only leads to heart ache and a burning sensation. XD
Pretty sure we were also involved in a social experiment. That, or someone was seriously taking the piss!
Fun night. My sides still hurt from laughing

I thought it was called a "white-on"...or at least that's what the girls in my high school used to call it.
