And just got an email from amazon saying that FoD, SW and OST have been shipped and will be delivered soon, only problem here is, I'm 13,000 miles away from the delivery address. 3 weeks time though, I'll have plenty of malaazan goodness

Today I asked a girl out for coffee next week and she said she'd love to. Add to this she's in my class and we had a darn good chat today, things are looking up

Watching my kids learn some Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I like the idea of it, because the whole premise is that your opponent is bigger and stronger than you, so you compensate with technique. But the result is a focus on submission holds, which I'm not sure I want my kids learning right now. Oh well.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Child assassins need all the techniques they can get, but yah, submission isn't a high priority skill set.
