Another hour and a half and I'll be finished this Hood forsaken nightshift, and my 4 days off will begin (it's the best one this time, Fri, sat, sun, mon.) and I have the Battlestar Galactica mini-series and season 1 to be getting on with. Children permitting.

TSW beta weekend. Hasn't started yet but its close proximity is already making me happy.

This for pre-orders only? I'm interested in TSW but not enough to pre-order...

New home kit isn't too bad
I prefer adidas' 3 striped offerings but its plain and simple, It'll do, Better than the scums, bwahahahaha

I think it is a class kit. Would perhaps have preferred white lettering for a cleaner look, but for a first attempt at a football shirt, Warrior certainly did well. Now here's to hoping away and 3rd kit are not completely breaking the pattern, and that the keepers outfit is looking distinguished as well.

It's Friday after 2 short work weeks. I'm not utterly exhausted for once. I've finished all of my most urgent work and can actually spend the next couple of hours doing some of the stuff that has been backing up over the last few months. Then I can go home. And I'm listening to the radio online and there's some good stuff on. It's the simple things

Anybody else like to use fake accents on receptionists when calling random businesses? NO? What do you mean, immature and unprofessional? I didn't mean to, it just slipped out. It is Friday

I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Played a remarkably fun coop game, called Artemis.

(Here's Penny Arcade's article: here)

You and several friends crew the bridge of a starship. You go on Star Trek like missions. You have distinct responsibilities. Engineering, helm, communications, etc. There's a lot of blame-throwing when you fail (it's always the Engy's fault), but it's pretty fun.

You can actually crew multiple ships if you have enough people, and you can play it over ip. Ideally the individual crews are in the same room (as there's one 'main' screen that's the bridge-viewscreen), but it's unnecessary.

Warner Brothers 'Harry Potter' tour is making me happy. I went yesterday, and I've just been going through my photos.

Tons and tons of sets, props and costumes from all the films, all set out in an accessable, atmospheric tour that had so much packed in that if you looked at the ceiling you would see something else hanging there.

And the final set piece is... mind blowing, if you're into movie-making, Harry Potter, or both. I won't give it away in case anyone else is going soon, but I was not expecting it, and was totally awe-struck.

I thoroughly recommmend it, what a great day.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I'm genuinely stress-free, content and happy right now. I've got a few assignments due this week that Ive not started, but I still feel really great and know everything will work out.
And if it doesn't, then I'm still okay.

I don't even care that it's mother's day, I'm strangely un-bothered by it this year. I've realized happiness and sadness are just illusions of the mind, biochemical effects caused by neurological transmitters and receptors in the brain. So happiness and sadness are merely options, why let them be relative to your external environment? Just choose to be happy and be done with sadness.
If I look back, I am lost.
