Since I came into work nearly 2 hours early, chances are I'll be able to leave two hours early...we'll see if it happens, but if it does, I'll be happy!

Reading that Cracked article. Some of the people commenting are so stupid, it makes me happy to laugh at them/extremely exasperated that there isn't a law to stop people like that from procreating...

Bought a new printer/scanner. It's big and beautiful and does everything (except cooking coffee, but I can bear with that

I got home after a really shit day, having already shed a few self-pity tears and trying to hold it together for the train ride at least. Checked the mail on my way in, was surprised to see there was actually something in there addressed to me. Got in out of the rain, fell into some hugs from Luci and had a bit of a cry before going over to check the mail. Opening the envelope addressed to me, I found the following:

You know it's a very bad day when only Illy can make it better 
I'm happy cos my new job allows me to work from home occasionally. Although, I'm at home because I have a pulled muscle in my back and am walking about like an old lady. If I drop something on the floor, it's lost to me until Mr PigDog gets home from work. I need one of those grabber stick thingumies.

Our cat just tried to climb our Christmas tree. It was a pain to put it up again and put all the ornaments back on.

My dog Foster shot outside when I opened the door and chased some small furry animal up under some rocks.
The animal ran into a crack, which happened to be -just- big enough for Foster to fit his head into... unfortunately, when the animal escaped through some obvious magic, Foster's head was stuck.
Wish I would have snapped a pic before I helped him out. Twas funny.
