Played a similar thing but never played Quasar. Great fun though Ive never been paint balling.

Played Quasar years ago and it was ok, but the equipment we had was crap, which caused some frustration.

paintballing is awesome though, especially with people who take it just seriously enough (respect the rules), but not too serious (it's all in good fun). if someone acts like a dick it can really spoil things cos those paintballs sting. the big difference with paintball, is that you can hear the paintballs as they whizz past your head, which is a really freaky sound after a while.

I was actually hoping to go for a day of paintballing soon if i can get the time

I reckon, if it could be done cheaply, there'd be a real market for Simunition games. You know, with guns that don't look like stupid plastic crap, aren't top-heavy, and drop shells that actually used gunpowder from themselves. >.>

That's my problem, really. Airsoft = way too inaccurate, and more expensive to buy your own stuff. Laser = lack of sounds/tactics/'impact', and it's ALWAYS treated as a bit too much of a laugh for regular play. Paintball = inaccurate, short range, stupid weapons, and lack of tactics.
Part of the problem is that if you want a 'serious' game, you have to find a club/group who are FAR TOO HARDCORE/take things too seriously. Part of it is that the mediums available don't really allow for proper play. :)

Ah, me too but it's also not very cheap and I can't really afford it at the moment. I want to go go-karting again, as well. And now that Illy's mentioned it, quasar too.

Going to see my friends in the city tomorrow. Everyone's been moving out of town, so it's gonna be nice to get out back together.

My team won the league today. Had to hope for a result in another game to go our way, and it did.

I got rep from worrywort, that strangely somehow makes me happy. Must be the mutual Udinaas love.

So, I hear that for today only, Scottish Football League stadiums are selling Irn-Bru pies. IRN-BRU PIES! Sweet Jesus!

While I think that this is the most ingenious idea ever, I am a bit disappointed that I have neither the time nor the money to get all the way to Scotland right now, to buy one of these tasty treats.

Actually, it's only available from Irvine's butchers in Beith.

So you could go to all the football grounds you want, you won't get one of the pies :)
meh. Link was dead :(

Hmm. That would be unfortunate. On further research, it turn's out that you're right.

The friend that gave me the original info is sure to be disappointed and THAT is making me happy.
