We called her Burn because she spends more time sleeping then any other cat I've known and if you wake her she goes into psycho-kitty mode, hisses at you and tries to destroy her surrounds.

Not only have I been dabbling in the affairs of mortals various 18 year old girls lately, now a friend's friend's daughter, who's 17 and bloody gorgeous (even more so than the mother, I dare to say) seems to like me a bit too much.
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. After along (~4 hour) conversation with my brother I've decided that I'm suffering from some kind of clinical depression and need some help.

Actually, all in all I had a fantastic day and I'm hoping to go back again next year, depending on who is playing... Getting back home at 3am wasn't so good though...

heh, some scam artists tried to steal my banking info today.

they've set up a link ot my bank's secure login page, and made it look really legit, too. only thing missing was the disclaimer about my bank NOT sending me unsolicited email.
I was about to log in, typed in my acess number.... and then I took a look at the address. lo and behold, why would a Canadian bank redirect through a polish site? (no offence, Gothos). followed the link to the site, it's a polish modding community. heh



to think, i almost fell for it.... damn reflexes.

it's getting better and better every day.

you know that feeling when you can feel and see yourself recovering skills you haven't used in a while? yeah, i'm feeling that right now.

I might be going up the ladder in the next few months. Assisting with a large new project now and I can taste the feeling of being tested on some level.
We'll see how it goes, but I really need to start making more monies.
