Dropped my ipad today. I've never had much good to say about ATT except that they're better than Verizon, but their Assurion insurance is worth the money. Filed the claim at ~2:30 this afternoon. When I started the claim I got an "out of stock on this model" message. 4 hours later a replacement was picked up by FedEx. Their website is informing me that since they were out of 16gb they shipped a 64gb.

That jazz concert was one of the highlights of the weekend. I've looked all over for their music online, but no luck. In other words, you should try to be a good hipster and enjoy something most others will never experience.

In summer I had flower boxes in front of my windows and every now and then a bird would sit in them, so I decided to build a birdhouse and right now a bunch of great tits is flying around it.

we're back online! after 4 months of sorry we're working on it etc....they finally came in and installed the thing in less than an hour. our predicament started when we got kicked out of our pad earlier this year and by virtue of our luck found the only house in this city without some form of fiberoptic-phoneline-cable connection, and our house was the only one that was off the grid in the middle of all other houses! hilarious.

Following on from all my house happiness, we now live just down the road from the site of the Battle of Towton (the Wars of the Roses) - which is one of my favourite periods of history. I'mma going battlefield walking! 
Also, Fiddler has yet to live up to his namesake and so far has not found a way to destroy/blow up anything.
