No, though now that you say it, I can kind of see it.

Not 10 minutes [I am slooow, so my one hour amounts to 10 minutes with other people], but a sketchy something anyway.. I am indeed practising to get faster.. ;)

"Shaving the cusser" -- nice euphemism.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I'm kind of new here...but this seems the place where we can post quick ( or not so quick ) sketches and see what the community thinks about it..what can be tweaked and what not...so here goes...Karsa, quick study...tell me what you think ( should be bigger, leaner...black. blue...etc..)

Pretty decent. I think the TTT types are earthy brown and have wide flat faces. And depending on when you're drawing him, Karsa should have shattered glass tattoos on his face. Lookin' fierce though.

Agree with worrywort, looking good :p

Since you're specifically asking, here's what I think would make it even better:
- the shattered glass tatoo would be awesome, though I realise that'd be difficult to do with pencils only
- a braid, Karsa wears his hair braided, which I kinda like and think adds to him some
- more muscle (yes, i said it).. he's already bulky and good as he is, well done, just maybe some more definition would make him look even more intimidating :D

Keep up the good work and show us more!

Stress causes baldness but if you pay too much attention to keeping your stress levels down
it'll stress you out even more so there's really nothing we can do about it after all.

In case someone wants to argue: I have quotes that prove QB to be bald and clean shaven!

Anyway, not perfect, but the best I came up with after years of trying.. Also, not sure about the eyes.. but meh, I started out drawing something else.

A rather impressionistic go at, well, guess.. And yeah, I'm just looking for excuses to not do uni assignments..

that's the perfect, i mean perfect style to capture the glass desert and icarias in. the imagery and descriptions of these areas in the book bring to mind exactly what you've done here.

I think it's awesome. The only thing I'd suggest is that it doesn't really project HEAT.

I am seriously abusing the '10 minute sketch' thread here. My wrist is stiff and makes little clicking noises, that's how many x 10 minutes I've been at :p I wish there was some kind of random art submission thread that I could crash so I didn't have to make a new one. Or crash this one. Sorry.

Anyway. After the calendar I felt pretty sure I was done with drawing Jaghuts, but now I've been at it again. I decided to change the tusks, and I think this works better but they are coming out of the upper jaw so it's technically wrong. And it still looks too human, I started out dehumanizing but somehow it morphed back.
My biggest problem, however, is the light. Am I using an imaginary source or is it entirely possible that her front would be that illuminated? Naturally, if you see any other problems I would appreciate some feedback :p
