This is awesome as is all of your brother's artwork! :) You definitely need to get him those malazan character descriptions asap. Plus you need to post some more of his work.

I concur hehe

Awesome character sketch, almost thought it was karsa...

haha yea i can see why people would think that, but its just some random character he did a long time ago, and im sure he could do a badass karsa, but we shall see if he gets interested enough in the story to read it all to get to him.

That was actually very funny. I giggled for a while. Have some rep.

Bloodeye's eyes should be red :p

considered their scholarly will.
He lowered his head
and with anguish he said,
"But how will we teach them to kill?"

I didn't think they specified it in the book. and the part when they say they are red, i thought it was blood actually flowing into his eyes.

Oh well. it's really hard to make them recognizable as eyes if they are any other color

To be honest, you might be right (not that I was being very serious). I don't remember his eyes actually being red now that I think about it. And Silchas Ruin was the albino... hmm.

Think the clouds were raining blood and it went into his eyes, and that's where he got the name from.

Ran a little bit over, maybe 15 mins but that includes a brief interruption by my boss disturbing my 'flow' :(

Anyway, this is my quick doodle of Itkovian embracing Rath'Fener after invoking the Reve. Just finished a read of MoI and thought it was an awesome moment for some artyness, may use this for something more elaborate....

Also, office scanner is bust so had to photo this with my phone hence useless quality, sorry

Oooh, very nice Phael. At first I was like "wtf is with his face"... then I had to facepalm as I remembered Rath'Fener has a mask...

Good work!

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Thank you.

I wanted to make a big scene out of it, but quickly gave up as I realized it was far beyond my capacity. Stupid Kormack, making it look so easy :D
