Well, how appropriate

vote Barghast

He supported Telas against me when it was thought Telas was on a Corleone hunt, so he's not Corleone. Time to level the field, people.

Also, added bonus: I have a feeling he's the FM, although dibs showed me I have a lot to learn about reading into other's play. Then again there's only one dibs.

Also avoiding the mod kill.

Vote Barghast

-I agree with Korvalain here.

Haven't had the time to do stuff today - full plate. My sincere apologies.

And the Kiwi's should all be on by now. Some have even been on all day. Silencer.

Vote Mockra.

For being a sheep running after Korvalain this early in the day, and for not adding any reasons behind his vote. And for possibly getting away with the consequences, too, if a train starts building. You're far too triggerhappy for my tastes, especially for someone who says he had no time to contribute before.

Busy or not, use your own brain, man.

And don't come to me saying that it is applying pressure... mister "I studied Italian, capiche?" (= Barghast) said he would contribute later on, after a few hours, which means there are still 30 hours left or so... surely you can pressure him after you've seen his contribution, no?

So, can this be qualified as an OMGUS-vote? Yes.

I'm currently not believing rhat Mockra's vote might be a poisoner signalling his don to add to the train, or a don signaling his followers to jump on the train to a rush-lynch, but 7 posts into a new day, 1 of which illegal, and then 2 votes is a staggering and dangerous development.

Ok, interesting night I guess. Corleones are two down, with very little other information.

There's still tons of time to vote, dont you think those are a little premature? And you've just gone and put pressure on someone who has said they wont be around for a while.

No discussion on why Meanas got taken out? I personally dont see what he did to warrant two poison tokens or a vig...

The day scene was referring to the fact that (Kas and Omtose that I've seen) some alts have accidently posted on the main forum. Kas replied in a thread Lisheo started, hence the dreams of drunken irishmen. lol.

I for one think the Barghast = FM case is pretty weak.

Edit - semi-cross post with Ruse. Those two are definitely on my radar

Oh, and yes I was jumping on the bandwagon for Barghast. But as I said, I don't really have that much time. For example, I'm off to sleep now. Will get up tomorrow, have maybe an hour or two all day. And I like my free time.

Anyway, I can't see Tellan getting lynched, so my vote for him is easy, but the reasoning is fair - we should hardly ever (more like never) discuss the reasoning for night actions. Just leads to WIFOM and aides the killer/s.
See? Using my own brain. But I'd still like to vote for Barghast, if I get to read the full thread, maybe I'll change my mind. And we'll see how this is going in the morning.

Night all.

You and Mockra for the suspicious votes.

Edit - slightly less now though, you seems surprised and Mockra is just throwing his vote around.

Suspicious? You think I don't have legitimate reasons to vote Barghast?

Or am I "on your radar" for being Corleone? Welcome to yesterday! ;)

@ Korvalain: you gunning for Barghast seems, for me, to be also (partly/ mostly) motivated by a wish to clean your alley first and get rid of the people who voted for you. You managed to get rid of Telas (not a huge feat), now you're gunning for Barghast... I'd say that's a better explanation than 'Barghast is the faceless man'. The speed with which you manage to slam your vote down seems to indicate that you want to steer today and want to do so by building a train, so forcing people's hands, rather than relying on a huge amount of evidence.

Because, let's be fair... your argument for 'Barghast is FM' is flimsy, and the sole way to push it through is by taking the reigns in today's game and not allowing other avenues of thought to pop up. Me, on the other hand, well, I believe there is far more to be gained by an open debate that is not diverted from the start by a single person with the support of a (willing/ allied) lackey.

@ Mockra: your reasoning of role distribution/reasoning who did what aiding the killers is only true in normal games. This is anything but a normal game, so it is flawed. More, there are no killers as such around. There's the FM, but he has his hands tied while the original dons still live, and he has to find the largest faction, first.
So, since you're proving yourself votehappy once again, my vote stays on you, since I still think your explanation sucks ;)

Actually, I don't strongly believe that Barghast is the FM, I'm voting for him because, indeed, he voted me, and voted me thinking I was Corleone. That makes it quite clear for me, unless all the Corleones had a mushroom party before the game. You not agreeing speaks volumes about your alliegances, by the way.

As for Tellan, if he doesn't like that FM case, there was another one yesterday that he was triad, I don't mind switching to this one ;)

Ok, Korvalain, it takes two to play the wonderful game of OMGUS.

Perhaps you are a don, and the other dons didn't feel comfortable wasting their precious investigations. Or an unteamed player. Yeah, it's safer for them to lay low at this early stage of the game. But some players just can't lay low. High-profile posters. You could be among them.

And why the fuck did you lynch Telas? I mean, he was among the rare players who kept this game going...

I liked him more than you. He had some original theories, while all you did was trying to lead counterattacks and failing.

As to explain why I was so nice to Telas, I come from a different site, where behaving like some of you do warrants a modkill.

Shit. Usually, I'd just vote off one of the silent players, because this game is, well, huge, and we need that information when the bodies start piling up. I'm still in favour of going for the triad/FM, because everyone wants them dead, it's something we can agree on. The trouble is, they're probably among the silent players, and randomization one of our possible methods. Which is dumb.

The other is re-reading. Yeah, I know, PITA, large, mostly spammed-up game, but it has to be done. Remember, we're looking for someone who is extremely vote-happy, and at the same time, wants to keep the possibility of him belonging to any family open. I'll try to do it tonight. There is a chance it's completely useless, but hey, anything is better than going random.
