Friends of ours who looked after Kalam for us awhile ago bought Kalam a present - a ball of yarn.

He absolutely loves it. He has been moving it around the house depending on where he feels like sitting at any given time. He has been keeping me entertained for hours. :p

It's basically like a collector's edition of a game. We spent way too much money on it because it looked good, while it works just as well as any other cat.

To make sure the dogs didn't run off too far, they were linked together. Here is them with a great, but really big, stick:

But Gust, what if they work together to run in the same direction?

Four months ago my sister got a horse for Christmas. I thought it was a flood rescued horse but it was actually just a standard rescue horse that had been neglected. I saw it for the first time today and having grown up with horses I was both extremely angry and gut-wrenchingly upset to see the condition it was in and this is after four months of proper love and care. I'm glad I didn't see how she looked before now or I would have had a hard time stopping myself from burning the previous owners house down.

Her name is Camilla and she has a lot of attitude and spirit. She is just lovely and she absolutely adores my sister.

Whiskeyjack has found a new favourite place to sit in the garden. It's great because it is right next to the driveway so it feels like he is greeting me when I get home :p

Damn Loki, horses are awesome. I saw something about horse artificial insemination on TV earlier today. They have funny penises.

I don't like cats as a general rule. But I live with one now and he's convinced I'm his best buddy ever. Which makes the fiancee happy so that makes my life easier!

Here's Gilbert.

Sweet, smart and beautiful - when she grows up, I bet she'll end up on the cover of the next "Beautiful Chickens" edition. ;)
The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

also: we're getting a puppy next week, and I can already predict how she's gonna react to that. Posted Image
Does anyone have any useful tips for introducing a puppy to a cat?

Here's our little lady of almost 8 months now with her certificate for the puppy class that we have been following since the end of February.

She was dead beat after the games she had to do before she was awarded with the certificate.

Snatched this picture off of google as i don't have a high-quality camera, but this is EXACTLY what my kitty looks like. She's amazing.

What breed is that? Miniture snow leopard?

I want one.

She is an Egyptian Mau.
And if you want one, they're a bit rare and VERY expensive, she cost us a thousand euro's.

I'm almost certain that the cat in this picture is a bengal - we have a half-savannah and there are quite a few bengals in our area :D

Also, our Ragdoll, Mojo:

That's very touching - I grew up with horses as well - never got along with them as well as I would have liked but they are noble creatures. After 4 months her ribs are still showing?! That must have been some serious neglect :D Fancy giving someone a starved horse for Christmas :p
