Okay then, my observations of Fener during the period following Gamelons apparent silencing. Basically the premise is that Fener repeatedly leaves openings for Galain to come up innocent.

This is the Khell-stunt possibility. Fener mentions it a few more times in later posts, but it is the minor option so I won't quote all of those.

Here we have his actual vote, in the very same post he says he doesn't see Galain as BB - so he doesn't expect a guilty CF.

As I said, if we don't have any concrete leads on the BB, I'd rather spend today lynching a very probable UB, giving our finder/guard another night to work.
Here he is putting forward the possibility of UB again and this time trying to make it appear that he's not the only one that thinks so. At no point in any of his picture posts did Gamelon display a picture remotely reminiscent of UB. But Fener knows Galain will come up innocent so he's trying to push the idea at every given opportunity.
There were two players trying to push the lynch through as quickly as possible: Galain and Kaschan. The thing is that Kaschan viewed Galain as BB and as such sets himself up for some pressure should Galain's CF be innocent. There is also the fact that Kaschan does explore both options quite a bit.
Fener simply picks one and pushes (possibly to get the lynch through before something like Gamelon's second reveal can happen), all the while saying that he doesn't think Galain is BB - trying to keep his nose clean for when the CF says innocent? Yes, I think so.

The underlined bit is I think a bit of a misrepresentation. On first reading I thought it was pretty obvious that Galain was trying to get clarification from PS - not trying to twist the Mechanics Post to suit himself. He was not the only person to view that post that way though, hence its being a lesser point.
Not going to put Fener at L-1 just yet because if he gets lynched too quickly night may time out before I can discuss with Mockra again and that is something I want to do regardless of Fener's CF.
